Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor was born in Hampstead, a wealthy district of North West London. Her parents were Americans residing in England. Her father was an art dealer and her mother a former actress known as ‘Sara Sothern’. They moved to America in 1939.
Elizabeth was a child star, notably in ‘National Velvet’ in 1944, who managed to make the transition to adult roles, eventually winning two Oscars – for ‘Butterfield 8’ and ‘Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?’
Aged 18, she married Nicky Hilton, whose father, Conrad, had founded the Hilton hotel group.
Divorcing Hilton, Elizabeth married British actor Michael Wilding, a man 20 years her senior, having two sons with him. In 1957, she dumped Wilding for the American producer Mike Todd. They had a daughter together. He was killed in a plane crash and Elizabeth was traumatised by his loss for years afterwards.
She proved herself an actress of extraordinary depth and range, notably in Giant — a Texan epic presaging TV’s Dallas — in which she co-starred with heart-throb James Dean.
In May 1959 she married her fourth husband, the crooner Eddie Fisher. The pair had caused a scandal when Fisher left his then wife Debbie Reynolds for Elizabeth.
A year later, Elizabeth was filming Cleopatra. Cast as Mark Antony, the Egyptian Queen’s Roman lover, was Welsh actor Richard Burton.
They married in 1964, creating a dazzling screen and stage partnership, appearing together in films such as ‘The Taming Of The Shrew’.
In 1966, they played warring husband and wife in ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’
They divorced in 1974, remarried in 1975 but parted for good a year later. Elizabeth married twice more.
Burton remained the love of her life, closely followed by Mike Todd.
Elizabeth had eight marriages, performed in 50 movies and won two Oscars, becoming a ‘Dame’ in 2000, for her services to film.
Having suffered fior years with ill health Elizabeth Taylor died on 23rd March 2011, aged 79.
Some of her other most notables films were ‘Lassie Come Home’, ‘Rhapsody’ and ‘Beau Brummell’.
THE FIRST HOUSE.
(SAGITTARIUS RISING SIGN.)
SELF-PROJECTION.Self-Projection indicates the way one would project the ‘Self’ out into the public eye and how others see them, though not necessarily how they really are. It indicates how one goes through life, the basic energy used to secure what is needed as an instinctive self-protective measure, either within an aggressive or defensive mode. This is a statement of the ‘Me First’ attitude, the way one activates the ‘Self’ in a selfish way, though the intention is to put the ‘Self’ to the front and make gains and not simply to make war. The 1st. House can be explained as being the ‘Unconscious Mask’ that one wears, a ‘Psychological’ guise so that others may not instantly recognise what weaknesses lay beneath the cover. The 1st. House is the ‘Unconscious’ disguise that raises one above the lesser animals, that one unconsciously hides instinctive reactions towards others.
The Zodiac Sign of Sagittarius indicates an area of life whereby the urge is to ‘Broaden ones Horizons’ through the effort of travel and further studies. The energy instigates a need to discover the ‘Truth’, to go on a spiritual ‘Quest’ in search of the ‘Holy Grail’, the meaning of life and what can be believed. Sagittarius urges a strength of belief, what might give an ultimate ‘Faith’ in life. The aim of Sagittarius is to set goals and aims, to urge a sense of sporting optimism that all the goals are reached, the ‘Paths of Truth’ that break boundaries. One will go where there are no borders and break new grounds in this ‘Adventure’ which culminates, hopefully, in finding the ‘Fountain’ of ‘Faith’. Sagittarius espouses the ‘Knowledge is Power’ and that one can evolve and spiral once one has gained the knowledge which will give one complete ‘Faith’ in oneself.
When the Zodiac Sign of Sagittarius covers the 1st. House then one will project a nature which is enthusiastic and positive, always happy to teach others what might be useful to them. However, the nature can be ‘Over-Promising’ in that one with this combination has no real sense of time and will tend to wander along the way so that one is never at a promised destination, turning up at a later time with all the excuses in the world. The ‘Truth’ is something which the Sagittarian nature is a ‘Stickler’ about, the nature is to breathe ‘Honesty’. However, one will tend to ‘Exaggerate’ the truth and will state what is said, ‘Broadly Speaking’. One sees things on many levels, often able to converse on many subjects, although not held by things which need deep concentration, Sagittarius has no time for restrictive practices and that’s the ‘Truth’!
To gain deeper insight into how and where Elizabeth Taylor would be urged to seek the ‘Truth’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Sagittarius is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Sagittarius is the ‘Expanding’ and ‘Jovial’ planet of Jupiter and Jupiter, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Leo in the 9th. House.
Elizabeth Taylor would project herself out into the public eye as larger than life, with a grand sense of adventure and willing to take the leading role, especially if there was to be a ‘Dramatic’ role to play. She tended to be somewhat ‘Haughty’ and might have appeared to be ‘Over-Bearing’ at times, especially if others tried to take a larger slice of the cake and over-take her in whatever play she staged. She was quite flamboyant and saw life as a giant stage on which she played out her melodramatic roles, often playing games with the zest of a child.
She was a lady who could inspire others to believe in themselves, displaying a quality which oozed self-confidence in public wherever she went. She loved to create an impression of fun and was recognized for her acting ability. Though she did not stay around long enough to concentrate on studies, she was one who showed a strong interest in the cultures of foreign countries and a strong belief in whatever she took on would lead to more public acclaim. Whatever she did, she took immense pride in how she was seen, the picture she presented was of one ‘Holding Court’. THE SECOND HOUSE.
FINANCIAL SECURITY.What is meant by Financial Security is the way in which one protects the self through the sense of material possessions. It implies the need to own possessions in a practical way, to slowly build up what is needed so that it gives a solid foundation, a sense of Financial Security. One might save up and buy a house so that roots are put down, a base from which one can continue to work, to have space for more possessions. The implication is what one spends money on and indicates an area of what is needed, what one needs to possess in life as a practical building block so that one feels secure. The idea is to patiently wait and slowly build up the stack, a block at a time so that one can afford to end up living in a ‘Financial Castle’, to have the ‘Possessions’ which prove one’s worth, what one has worked for in the life.
The Zodiac Sign of Capricorn indicates the need to gain a ‘Reputation’ and to be recognized as one who has reached the top within ‘Career’. The need is to gain some degree of ‘Authority’ and to be beyond any point of criticism. The nature is to be persevering, with a dogged determination to reach the ‘Top’ and to be looked up to with respect from those in the lower ranks. One likes to be able to organize whatever goes on and to delegate to those one has faith in, that orders will be carried out. Capricorn insures a degree of careful consideration to any moves made, so there are no ‘Slip-Ups’, no failures which can have others pointing a critical finger. Capricorn is a naturally careful over what it does, when it comes to working things out and for this reason the nature is to consider and ‘Tests’ things over a period of ‘Time’.
When the Zodiac Sign of Capricorn covers the 2nd. House then one will seek to earn finances through a sense of ‘Duty’ and to be careful and prudent in the way money was spent. One tends to be unpretentious when spending finances simply because the Capricorn nature is to be very aware that ‘Over-Spending’ can quickly disperse ‘Savings’, which implies the need to go ‘Cap in Hand’ and beg another for ‘Financial Aid’. This reason alone, the underlying ‘Psychological’ fear of being poor, of being reduced to the ‘Lower Ranks’ of the ‘Working Class’ would give a care to financial expenditure. Money would be spent on any means which would help raise the nature of ‘Career’, to gain a reputation of one whom works and saves, spending money in a responsible and conscientious way.
To gain deeper insight into how and what Elizabeth Taylor would tend to buy for the purpose of ‘Financial Security’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Capricorn is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Capricorn is the ‘Restrictive’ and ‘Limiting’ planet of Saturn and Saturn, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Aquarius in the 2nd. House.
Saturn is always a planet which, psychologically, produces a sense of fear and this comes from the ‘Restrictive’ practice which ‘Limits’ one’s expectations and so frustrates the nature. When Saturn is seated in the 2nd. House the ‘Inner’ fear is over ‘Poverty’, to be afraid of having to go, ‘Cap in Hand’ and beg others for money or even a cup of sugar. The real reason for the ‘Fear’ is that it opens one up for criticism and ridicule, that one is a beggar. And when Saturn is seated in the 2nd. House in Aquarius then one tends to sit still and fears moving into the ‘Future’.
However, with this combination in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart, she would always be afraid to look or even think about her future prospects as far as finances were concerned but, at the same time, she would hate to be seen as one who would be seen as a ‘Scrooge’. In this way she spent money on those things which showed her as having wealth, to keep up with the ‘Stars’ of the day, the ‘Ball-Gowns’ and ‘Showy Glitz’, although she retained a sense of the ‘Old Style’, never buying or wearing the dazzling new ‘Styles’ which cost a fortune. In many respects, her spending was on what might be considered as ‘Old-Fashioned’, though the urge was to ‘Cut’ down on costs.
It is noticed, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart that the planet Saturn is ‘Cusping’, seated between the Zodiac Signs of Capricorn and Aquarius. Because Aquarius belongs to the 3rd. House, this would have an effect on her ‘Thoughts’ about the future. THIRD HOUSE.
COMMUNICATIVE SPIRIT.THEThe 3rd. House deals with the 'Spirit' of communication and this implies the way in which one thinks, one’s method of logic, expressed through the mediums of speech and writing. It is how one communicates within the local environment and the way information is gained and conveyed to others. This is an area of everyday conversation, what one might talk about and whom to. The sense of communication is light-hearted and conducted in a spirited way. One tends to say what is immediately thought in an habitual way, with a sense of humour which can often come over as ‘Flighty’ and ‘Flirtatious’. Often, this area of communication can show how one will convey ideas and how one might communicate with siblings, relatives and neighbours. Quick visits are enjoyed, perhaps a ‘Week-End’ break to gain more information to pass on.
The Zodiac Sign of Aquarius indicates an area of life whereby one thinks about and considers the ‘Future’. One seeks an ideal situation that suits one’s ‘Hopes, Aspirations’ and ‘Wishes’, what one might predict lies ahead. The nature is to find a cause to serve, to seek to make changes to the Social Scene so that ‘Outmoded’ ideas are ‘Updated’ and, in this way ‘Humanity’ gains the benefit. Aquarius is often found where there is social discord and rebellion, waging war for social justice and ‘Human Rights’. However, Aquarius is a ‘Sociable’ and affable nature, one which seeks the company of friends and finds comfort within associations which might stem from ‘Hobbies’ and gaining enjoyment through ‘Socializing’ outside of working hours, within group efforts. The need is to exchange ‘Ideas’ and cause changes through petitions and ‘Shared’ enthusiasm within the group.
When the Zodiac Sign of Aquarius covers the 3rd. House then one is very sociable and will communicate easily with others, especially when enjoying life outside of working hours, with socializing and within the company of groups of friends. One may not care to sit idle and just ‘Tittle-Tattle’, to gossip about mundane things. One is more interested in what is going on in the world outside of the ‘Local Haunts’, what’s going on in the world, interested in the future of ‘Humanity’. There’s often speech concerning ‘Human Rights’ and concern for the welfare of others and, to this end, one might join a ‘Pressure Group’ so that ‘Voiced Opinions’ might cause the attitudes of authorities to change. When it comes to communication, the air is often of rebellious ‘Thinking’.
To gain deeper insight into what Elizabeth Taylor would communicate about, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Aquarius is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Aquarius is the ‘Eccentric’ and ‘Rebellious’ planet of Uranus and Uranus and in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Aries in the 5th. House.
When the ‘Zany’ planet Uranus is seated under the Zodiac Sign of Aries then one can behave in a way not quite expected by a lady. The desire is for excitement and crazy games, to break all traditional taboos so that one can be extremely restless if having to stay still for any length of time. The 5th. House indicates areas in the life where one cats in a spontaneous and creative way, so that when Uranus rushes into the ‘Play’ then it’s a safe bet that one will create a ‘Bright Blaze’ of dramatic excitant which will certainly get some bad reports in the newspapers for one’s speech and actions. It can be that Elizabeth Taylor plays by her own rules and says what she needs to say without thought of what such actions will cause as far as the future goes. She will rush in where ‘Angels’ fear to tread and to hell with the cost!
The principle of Uranus is ‘Liberation’ and Elizabeth Taylor would speak up about whatever held up the cause for ‘Human Rights’, although she would often prefer to fight causes on her own, to lead into battle and have others follow her. She would communicate her needs with fiery demands and even fierier actions, shocking even if the actions got no reaction. She would take the initiative, be rebellious and ruthless at times and extremely compulsive. Her methods were often unconventional and highly-charged. Elizabeth Taylor believed in ‘Freedom of Expression’ and would express herself in some shocking language if need be. In many ways, this lady enjoyed shocking the more staid of society, in speech and actions!THE FOURTH HOUSE.
EMOTIONAL SECURITY.Emotional Security is all about how one feels, one’s sense of atmosphere and how one ‘Feels’ about the past. In many respects, the way one lived in the past reflects on how one deals with what is within the present. If one had a good early home-life, the past being kind, this would be reflected in the way one reacts to present situations, and vice-versa. Emotional Security is all about atmospheres and one's reactions to them and in this way one will react to early childhood conditioning. The 4th. House gives indication of the .Nurturing Spirit’ and how one is able to put down ‘Roots’, to become settled in ‘Later’ life. Often, this House can cause ‘Phobias’ and ‘Neurosis’, brought about through times of stress the ‘Mother’ might have gone through during the term of ‘Pregnancy’.
The Zodiac Sign of Pisces indicates an area of the life whereby one would need to ‘escape’ from the competitive ‘Rat-Race’, the heated atmosphere of authority which most of the ‘Human Race’ enjoys. The nature of Pisces is have an escape route into the land of ‘Dreams’, into areas whereby the imagination can become enlarged so that all things are easily available. It is the ‘Magic- Land’ of illumination, the ‘Playground’ of Children. Pisces offers a safe haven, often as a ‘Spiritual Heaven’, where one might pray for some peace and quiet, to drift into a natural ‘Dreamland’. There can often be a confusion as to what is real, for the imagination can bring on illusions so that one might believe what is imagined and project an eccentricity of nature that is larger than life. Pisces is one of the most sensitive Zodiac Signs and highly ‘Impressionable’.
When the Zodiac Sign of Pisces covers the 4th. House then one is extremely sensitive to atmospheres and highly impressionable to sensations which are risen up through feelings of ‘Past’ association. One can react quickly to atmospheres which give a sense of being ‘Haunted’ and, in this way, it’s often the case that one is ‘haunted’ by the past. With this combination, one tends to ‘Drift’ back into the past, to escape the disharmony of every-day life, to allow the ‘Feelings’ to ‘Dwell’ on what felt good at the time and to try to ‘Re-Capture’ the sense of those illusions of ‘Happier Times’, when one lived in a carefree ‘Childhood’. In life, one might always be seeking to find the ‘Ideal’ home, to ‘Root’ the self into the past so it is extremely hard to break free from the ‘Small Child’ which still lives in Dreams’ within the adult.
To gain deeper insight into how Elizabeth Taylor would use the sense of ‘Dreaming’ about the ‘Past as an Escape’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Pisces is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Pisces is the ‘Imaginative’ and ‘Nebulous’ planet of Neptune and Neptune, in (NAME) Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Virgo in the 9th. House.
The principle of Neptune is for ‘Transcendence’, to rise above the base emotions which can cause a ‘Dependency’ on whatever gives relief from what is feared. And when the planet Neptune is seated in the 9th. House then one can always seek help from a ‘Spiritual Belief’, to seek a spiritual path which finds ‘God’, to believe that prayers will be one’s ‘Salvation’. With Neptune ‘Extended’ from Pisces in the 4th. House this indicates a desire to let go of the ‘Past’, of a ‘Childhood’ when one could depend on a Mother’s always being there to ‘bathe’ away any bad ‘Dreams’ and the scope of ‘Imagination’. The need would be for Elizabeth Taylor to break away from the need of ‘Dependency’, to ‘Transcend’ and rise above the past. The problem here is that, when Neptune resides in the ‘Expansive’ 9th. House of Virgo then there can be forms of ‘Mental Confusion’ which might result in Elizabeth Taylor becoming dependent on more medical relief than prayer.
The aim would be to strengthen the mind in some way, to allay ‘Ghosts’ of the past, the reliance on gaining sympathy from others through possible forms of physiological and ‘Mystery’ illnesses which would help one escape from ‘Emotional Needs’, the memories of a ‘Past’ when there always someone there to tend and care when the ‘Child’ was upset, ‘Parents’ she could depend on. In respect, Pisces in the 4th. House would give a ‘Romantised’ view of one’s past and Elizabeth taylor ‘Subconsciously’ yearned for those days again, when all was safe and secure. She found the ‘Adult World’ harsh and full of ‘Selfish’ people who took what they wanted. All she wanted was peace and quiet and someone or something she could depend on!THE FIFTH HOUSE.
NATURAL CREATIVITY.The 5th. House in one's Birth Chart indicates an area where one expresses an ‘Instinctive’ sense of 'Natural Creativity'. It implies where one has natural ‘Flair’, where one has ‘Pride’ and the need to ‘Show-Off’ what comes naturally. The sense of ‘Natural Creativity’ can come through spontaneous ideas. This can also include taking a chance on romance, the idea of creating a sense of adventure and lead a ‘merry Chase’. A gamble and sense of fun will also comes under the influence of creativity, as does poetry and other artistic forms. The sense is to be proud of what one creates, as a Mother is proud of the 'Child' she has created. The 5th. House accentuates a pride in leadership and good organizing abilities and an ability to take dramatic parts in ‘Role-Playing, to dramatise scenes within the life’s role.
The Zodiac Sign of Aries indicates an area of the life which represents the ‘Self’ and the ‘Me First’ attitude. It shows how one will use assertion to get what is wanted through aggressive moves. The nature is to go straight to the point of what is wanted. The tendency is to be head-strong and willful and no sooner has one set one's sight on what is wanted than one sets about attaining whatever it is. The Aries Rising Sign does not think about the consequences of any action, the speed of action is automatic and without consideration and so, for this reason those with Aries prominent in their Birth Chart might well be accident-prone, rushing ahead so that the ‘Headlong’ rush means that the head is the part that meets in a collision with whatever gets in the way. ‘Immediate Action’ is the order of the day with Aries!
When the Zodiac Sign of Aries covers the 5th. house then one is liable to take chances and seem to always end up in the ‘Wars’. The nature is to seek excitement and adventure with a love of speed which adds to the momentum. One will quickly take charge of affairs and just as quickly organise events, with themselves playing the leading role, especially when in comes to playing dramatic roles and setting the place alight with firework displays, of romantic action. The need for spontaneous activity will always create drama in the life and this will add spice to the ‘Role’ of living dangerously. Friendships are used as a setting, the scenery which has the Hero/Heroine rescuing all from a naturally created disaster. But it’s all in fun and one is proud of what is achieved when ‘Play-time’ is over and the ‘Childish’ toys are put away.
To gain deeper insight into how Elizabeth Taylor would use a natural sense of spontaneous ‘Creativity’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Aries is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Aries is the ‘Activating’ and ‘Forceful’ planet of Mars and Mars, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Pisces in the 3rd. House.
The 3rd. House indicates how one might express the ‘Self’ through ‘Communicative’ effort, how one speak/write, any medium which indicates one’s needs. And when the planet Mars is seated in the 3rd. House, this can express that Elizabeth Taylor can be quite aggressive and volatile when she becomes upset and, which Mars in Pisces, this means the temperament can always blow ‘Hot’ and ‘Cold’, that her temper can be explosive when under stress or under the impression she is not getting enough ‘Action’, that the ‘Child’ in here seeks attention. There can be times when she would speak in a melodramatic way, creating an act which might well be part of an act that is not scripted.
Psychologically, the moods and aggressive language, which often includes ‘Swearing’, comes from a ‘Defensive’ mode, that the speech masks an inner vulnerability and the unreasonable sense of not being able to think logically, so that words ‘Curse’ themselves out. The need is to demand excitement, to have another mentally stimulate the communication and the action, to impress her in such a way that she would surrender herself. There is a lot of inner tension in this combination, which has to be ‘Let Out’ in a practical way.
The mind is always seeking new excitements and will become bored easily. Here again, the aggressive communication is an indication of Elizabeth Taylor demanding that a ‘Partner’ dominate her, make her submit to their ‘Power’. In a way, psychologically, she wants to be forced into submission so that the ‘Sexual Activity’ becomes exciting. The need is to goad another into a ‘Verbal Confrontation’ which leads to a ‘Fight’ and the excitement of dramatic ‘Bedroom Scenes’!THE SIXTH HOUSE.
PRACTICAL CO-WORKING.The 6th. House in one’s Birth Chart indicates an area which denotes one’s sense of ‘Co-Operating’ and practically ‘Co-working’ with others. By ‘Practical Co-Working’ is meant how one applies the ‘Self’ to any form of practical work which involves working with others and how one gets along with the ‘Fellow-Workers’. This also applies to one’s sense of time, how one deals with the idea of routine and regulations, how one deals with detail as well as the sense of tidiness within working ethics. The 6th. House gives an idea of one’s method and practical knowledge as well as ideas about health and dietary habits. The idea was to have things working in perfect health, to be well-oiled and to show the practical skills, the co-operation between hand and mind. The ‘need’ is for ‘Precision’ and to be ‘Needed’.
The Zodiac Sign of Taurus represents the urge for ‘Financial Security’. It indicates what is purchased so that the sense of security is obtained through what is ‘Possessed’, what is materially gained that benefits the sense of ‘Well Being’. Acquisition is urged through a slow and careful ‘Build-Up’, prudent and cautious in what is paid for. The sense is that ‘Ownership is Power’ and that, with the build-up of property comes security. Taurus indicates a nature which is stubbornly fixed, tenacious in acquiring what is needed as a ‘Stronghold’, a ‘Vault’ of ‘Security’. The urge is to ‘Own’, to ‘Possess’ as an understanding that what one possesses is the mark of one’s ‘Status’ in life and will gain respect. Psychologically, Taurus represents ‘Good Taste’. When the Zodiac Sign of Taurus covers the 2nd. House then might always seek a bargain.
When the Zodiac Sign of Taurus covers the 6th. House then one tends to like to be precise when it comes to details, especially when it comes to finance. It’s often the case that those with this combination can work well as an Accountant, one who can add up in a precise and efficient way, studying the receipts with a magnifying glass, making sure everything is in order. The nature is to work with others, often taking up the cause on another’s behalf when it comes to payments for hours worked. One can work well when it comes to ‘Buying’ and ‘Selling’, working well with those whom have properties to sell. Here again, is an opening as an ‘Estate Agent’. When it comes to ‘Co-Operating’ within the ‘Workforce’, it’s all about producing the right results and ‘Counting’ the ‘Cost’!
To gain deeper insight into how Elizabeth Taylor would ‘Co-Operate’ with ‘Fellow Co-Workers’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Taurus is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Taurus is the ‘Practical’ and ‘Materialistic’ planet of Venus and Venus, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Aries in the 5th. House.
The 5th. House indicates one’s sense of ‘Spontaneous Creativity’, where one has flair and ‘Creative Drive’ so that one might fully enjoy life, seeing the world as a ‘Ball’ of fun and games. Certainly, with Aries covering the 5th. House Elizabeth Taylor would have enjoyed creating dramatic melodramas and times of rash and reckless interplay, with herself as the ‘Main Attraction’. When the planet Venus enters into the sense of fun then Elizabeth Taylor would have had a ‘Flair’ for having herself admired, even adored for her actions, always ready to take the lead in the ‘Play’. However, it has to be seen that, with the discerning and practical Venus ‘Extended’ from Taurus in the 6th. House, Elizabeth Taylor would have understood the her ‘Created Dramas’ were a way of paying her dividends, that much of what she enjoyed, the ‘Play’ was all of an act, a ‘Staged Affair’ through which she was paid the highest simply because she was the ‘Main Attraction’.
When it came to working with others, ‘Co-Operating’ with fellow-workers, Elizabeth Taylor considered herself to be the ‘Queen’ and fellow-workers simply the workforce who must pay her full ‘Court’, that by being in the ‘Play’ would be considered payment enough. Whenever the Zodiac Sign of Aries covers a planet then the interpretation has to be of a somewhat ‘Selfish’ nature, that the ‘Me First’ is of main concern and that Elizabeth Taylor worked with others as a necessary ‘Spending’ by those whom employed the ‘Cast’. As far as she was concerned, she was worth every penny and would put money in the ‘Bank’, though with Venus in Aries, she might have been considered a ‘Financial Risk’ by someTHE SEVENTH HOUSE.
LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS.The 7th. House indicates an area of the life which deals with ‘Relationships’ and ‘Love’. It represents the ‘Give and Take’ within a relationship and deals with the qualities of what is fair and just. Whilst the word ‘Love’ is used, the idea of ‘Relationships’ is more to the point, in that the 7th. House indicates what one ‘Relates’ to. relationships can include ‘Friendships’ and ‘Partnerships’, whatever attracts one to another whom might have a part of the what is lacking in the ‘Self’. In this way one might need to relate to another who can give assurance or communicate so that one is given advice. The 7th. House can explain the sense of a ‘Magnetic’ quality, what attracts one and this can also include another’s sense of ‘Style’, of ‘Dress-Sense’, how and what one likes to ‘Look’ of.
The Zodiac Sign of Gemini indicates an area of life in which the effort of communication is the medium which allows a sense of understanding, of what is going on in the world. Gemini instigates conversation, the method and logic used to construct what is communicated. Communication can be expressed through the mediums of speech and/or writing, whatever is needed to gain and pass on information. Gemini instigates mental curiosity and the urge to keep on the move in a restless way so that the mind becomes a ‘Busy Bee’, stopping at each flower of information and then passing the informative ‘Pollen’ on to other flowering ears.
The nature of Gemini is to instigate conversation within the local environment, as a local newspaper ‘Reporter’, one who is not bogged down with heavy duty or concentrated effort.
When the Zodiac Sign of Gemini covers the 7th. House then one would easily relate to another whom is ‘Socially Communicative’, who treats life as a ‘Ball’ with an aim of taking things lightly and to be ‘Flighty’ and Flirtatious’. In this way one with this combination, of having Gemini in the 7th. House, can enjoy the light-hearted sense of ‘Flattery’ which uplifts the ‘Party Spirit’. However, this also indicates a nature of the ‘Social Butterfly’, one whom stops just long enough to drink the ‘Communicative Nectar’, then off, to pollinate another ‘Flower’ with the juice of information. One is attracted to another who is not ‘Possessive’, one who demands the ties of ‘Marital Domesticity’, this is not for the ‘Free-Flyer’. Relationships are all about the next ‘Date’, the next ‘Dance’ and the next time of ‘Meeting’ for a quick ‘Chat’!
To gain deeper insight into how and whom Elizabeth Taylor likes to relate to in a ‘Communicative’ way, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Gemini is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Gemini is the ‘Flirtatious’ and ‘Mutable’ planet of Mercury and Mercury, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Pisces in the 3rd. House.
The need, when the planet Mercury is seated in the 3rd. House of Pisces, is to give an ‘Impression’ of having a ‘Creative’ mentality, that one has the ability to ‘Tell a Story’ which is quite believable. And, with this combination in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart, it is possible that she habitually ‘Fell’ hook, line and sinker for the same old tale, that she would swallow the bait of another who kept her amused and came out with the same old ‘Flirtatious’ bait. And the problem here would be that Elizabeth Taylor would keep returning to those whom she communicated with in the past, for those she related to were those whom gave her a sense of ‘faith’ and ‘Belief’ in herself, that they made her forget her problems, her worries which ‘haunted’ her.
In a way, Elizabeth Taylor took things quite seriously, her mind often dwelling on the past and often confused and coloured by her feelings and impressions derived from the need to escape from life’s struggles, the need was to seek relationships which those who could ‘Lighten’ the load. However, with Pisces confusing the issue, Elizabeth Taylor would often cast a wide net and draw in some strange ‘Fish’, those whom were also seeking consolation and to escape from life. In a reverse of ‘Mind’ this would bring out the ‘Mothering’ and ‘Nursing’ instinct from Elizabeth Taylor, so that, by helping and nursing the pains of others, she could lose her own needs for sympathetic treatment. In a perverse way, Elizabeth Taylor was better suited to relating to those weaker than herself than the ‘Strong-Minded’ types, those whom had a mind of their own. Elizabeth Taylor related to the ‘Poor Souls’, impressed by her own feelings of empathy. THE EIGHTH HOUSE.
SHARED RESOURCES. The 8th. House has the energy of ‘Transformation’ in that one will seek another or something which, once forming an association, will transform the nature so that what one was used to is ‘Ended’ and a ‘New Beginning’ starts. The 8th. House represents a ‘Death’ and ‘Rebirth’, the transformation of one thing into another through the sense of sharing a concentrated source of ‘Power’. In many respects, the action is for the owner of the Birth Chart to surrender the ‘Self’ to the power of another, so that one draws into the self what power the other has, to share the power-source so that the ‘Spirit’ of Change’ is enforced. The nature of ‘Sharing’ will bring to light the ‘Hidden Unconscious Forces’ which will alter the shape of the ‘Life-Force’ so that one evolves and is elevated to a higher level. This House is deeply psychological and is the nature of dormant ‘talent’.
The Zodiac Sign of Cancer tends to be cautious and extremely sensitive to atmospheres, unhappy to be suddenly placed into new situations, so that one needs time to become accustomed to what is presented. One is quick to sense if another makes a ‘Personal Attack’ and will become ‘Moody’ and ‘Crabby’ until the offender is removed. In this way one will often project the ‘Self’ as a tough prospect though this is an act, the projection of a tough exterior which protects the soft ‘Inner Core’. One is protective of the ‘Home’ and the ‘Family’, feeling that one is always able to manage and will take on the responsibility, as the ‘Head’ of the family. One acts as the ‘Mother Hen’ or the ‘Rooster’, the protector within the ‘Chicken Coop’, the one who always ‘Manages’ to do what it sets out to do.
When the Zodiac Sign of Cancer covers the 8th. House then one has to learn to let go of what is ‘Past’ and to start ‘Living’ again! Psychologically, the nature of the ‘Child’ is represented as living in a ‘Cocoon’ deep within the ‘Unconscious Self’, the nature is full of basic emotional energies, of ‘Spite’ and ‘Revenge’ which are its sense of ‘Self-Preservation’. In many ways, there is a need to find another whom has the ‘Power’ to release such tensions and unhealthy energies, to have the power which can ‘Transform’ the nature from what is the ‘Child’ to become the ‘Adult’, so that one, once ‘Transformed’ can move on into full maturity. The only way this might be possible is for another to ‘Sexually’ induce ‘Adulthood’. However, if another then gives anxiety through disloyalty, then the ‘Child’ returns and with it comes all the ‘Spite’ and ‘jealousy’ and the ‘Revenge’!
To gain deeper insight into how and where Elizabeth Taylor would seek to find the ‘Power-Source’ of change, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Cancer is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Cancer is the ‘Sensitive’ and ‘Nurturing’ planet of the Moon and the Moon, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio in the 12th. House.
When the Moon is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio then one will find it extremely hard to let go of what one is ‘Used’ to, what one ‘Habitually’ feels at ‘home’ with. This combination can produce an intense psychological fear of letting go of anything which gives one a feeling of being ‘Tied’ to the past. One can relate this feeling to losing one’s ‘Memory’, that one cannot find the way ‘Home’. In this way, there is a strong creative bond to the ‘Mother’ and it’s often the case that one with this combination is there, at the death of the Mother. However, Elizabeth Taylor would have strong emotive feelings, reflecting her past and such intense emotional feelings are wrapped up with all the hurts and pains, retention of those and things which/whom have caused her pain in the past which she cannot let go of. With the Zodiac Sign of Cancer covering the 8th. House, one will seek another so that the ‘Sharing’ gives a sense of ‘History’.
With the Moon seated in the 12th. House of Scorpio, Elizabeth Taylor would have to let go off the habitual feelings that those she shared her ‘Home’ with would not be trusted out on their own, that they would be disloyal. These determined emotions and fear that she would be left, to die alone would be her ‘Cross’ to bear in life. The psychological fact of her ‘Mother’ dying and leaving her alone is what drives the ‘Spiteful’ memories, so that Elizabeth Taylor could not let go of the instinctive feeling that anyone she trusted would leave her. In this way, her ‘Fear of Betrayal’ drove her, habitually’ destroyed any sense of ‘Sharing’ with another, to ‘Kill Off’ the ‘House of Created Love’.
In this way, Elizabeth Taylor would ‘Sacrifice’ any relationship so that she could preserve the ‘Feelings’ of the ‘Frightened Child’ inside her, to get rid of others before they got rid of her. Again, Elizabeth Taylor was psychologically determined not to ‘Transform’ herself through the instinctive urge to ‘Create’ a ‘Family’. Having had the ‘History’ of creating a ‘Family’ and losing it through Death, the fear is to ‘Begin again’ in case it would die again as it had in the past, in her ‘History’THE NINTH HOUSE.
EXPANSION THROUGH EXPERIENCE. The 9th. House indicates an area of the life whereby one will seek an expansion of the ‘Self’ through ‘Knowledge. It indicates how one will search for forms of ‘Spiritual Experience’ so that one learns to find a value of belief, especially within the self. Expansion through experience is a measure of how and what one might learn through further and deeper studies and/ or through distant travel which gives insight into foreign cultures which will ‘Broaden one’s Horizons’. Often there is a need to go on a quest, in search of the ‘Meaning of Life’ and to find out the ‘Truth’ of one’s existence. The belief can be that ‘Knowledge is Power’ and that should one gain a degree of knowledge then one can have ‘Self-Belief’, to go on to ‘Enthuse’ others, to teach others so they can also gain ‘Self-belief’ and that to gain ‘Knowledge’ is why one lives on this Earth.
The Zodiac Sign of Leo tends to give an act of breezy confidence, a bearing which can seem to light up the room when one walks in. The nature is to be ‘Sunny’ and 'Generous', one is ‘Good-Hearted’ and with a tendency to put others at their ease. One will always be surrounded by friends, although one tends to treat friend in a courteous way, as if they are more in attendance than enjoying the intimacy of company. One has a strong ‘Creative’ sense of fun, the 'Will' to enjoy life and likes to organize whatever goes on around them, to offer favours with a ‘Royal’ wave of the hand. However, the urge is to expect some applause for the way one acts, as if one is on ‘Show’ all the time and for the favours bestowed on others. ‘Haughtiness’ and a grand sense of ‘Pride’ can be reflected in the dramatic nature of ‘Presentation’ when in the public eye.
When the Zodiac Sign of Leo covers the 9th. House then one can be sometimes ‘Overbearing’, although the nature is very generous and ‘Big-hearted’. One is liable to give a ‘Grand Display’ of one’s natural ‘Talents’, to be ever-ready to spontaneously create a dramatic act and put on a ‘Show’ for any admiring audience. With Leo presiding over affairs, there is a large sense of ‘Enthusiasm’ expressed with a desire to travel the world, with an expectancy to have adoration from wherever one might travel. The nature here is to have a great sense of ‘Self-Believe’, to gain and use all the experiences which the travel through life exposes. In some way, the sense of ‘Haughtiness’ and excess of ‘Pride’ is not through deeper studies, one might be too engaged in ‘Role-Playing’ and ‘Dramatic Interpretation’ to have time for concentrating on ‘Heavy-Duty’ studies.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Elizabeth Taylor would use her natural talent to gain ‘Knowledge and ‘Broaden her Horizons’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Leo is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Leo is the ‘Willful’ and ‘Egotistical’ planet of the Sun and the Sun, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Pisces in the 3rd. House.
It is noted that the Pisces Sun in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is ‘Drifted’ into the 3rd. House from the 4th. House and this entails that her ‘Communicative’ sense stems from the past, that her thoughts are generated from her ‘Feelings’ which are instinctively portrayed. In this way, she might always start a sentence by stating… “I remember a time when…” That, by using the past as a guiding rule, she could relate to what she thought. Again, the sense of this is that she would have been ‘Conditioned’ by her parents as to what she would be, how she would act and, in this way, she ‘Identified’ herself through what her parents ‘Imagined’ she would be. It would have been very hard for Elizabeth Taylor to break away from her past, from her ‘Early’ childhood conditioning.
With her Pisces Sun ‘Drifted’ from the 4th. House into the 3rd. House ensures that Elizabeth Taylor would be extremely impressionable and sensitive to her feelings and would hate to argue, yet compulsively driven to gain sense of what another thought of her through an argument and return the same, telling another what she thought of them. In a way, her need to escape from reality was brought about and through arguments. With her feelings hurt in the aftermath of such spiteful ‘Interplay’ she would hide and sit in extremes of ‘Self-Pity’, to cry inside and to imagine how her parents would always be there to protect her from the ‘Outside World’.
With the Sun ‘Extended’ from the 9th. House of Leo, Elizabeth Taylor had learned from the past that her ‘Mother’ installed ‘Faith’ into her, that her parents had such hope and faith in her so that this ‘faith’ gave her a ‘Belief’ in herself. Once the parents had left her, she only had her memories and imagination to enliven her sense of belief in herself. Psychologically, she wanted her ‘Family’ to be proud of her as repayment for their faith in her and so she could never break away from the habit of ‘Living in the Past’.
THE TENTH HOUSE.CAREER AND STATUS.The 10th. House indicates an area within the life which deals with one’s sense of ambition and the urge to climb so that one is judged to have done well at the end of the line. This House gives an idea of how one deals with those in authority, with the sense of duty and the way one might organise the life. The aim is to gain recognition, to rise in the life so that one gains a reputation and status, whether good or bad. The 10th. House can give sense of what kind of career one might seek so that a reputation is realised. The nature is to accept the need for concentration and to start from the bottom, then to gradually work one’s way up the line of command. It signifies ‘Ambition’ and ‘Status’, the urge to be seen as having ‘Made It’ at the end of life. To be able to have others recognise one’s ‘Position’ in life.
The Zodiac Sign of Virgo indicates an area of life which is under discernment, the ability to discern what constitutes a healthy presence and to understand what is ‘Needed’ to keep things flowing. The nature of Virgo is to keep the ‘Engine, of life well oiled. The Zodiac Virgo gives reference to what is ‘Perfect’ and the ‘Need’ to have things in their rightful place and working to a perfect rhythm so that the ‘Machine’ of both, body and mind, work in perfect harmony and have no failings. Virgo is the spirit of what is ‘Healthy’ and will tend to ‘Doubt’ what is not put under scrutiny. In this way the nature of Virgo is to discern and discriminate, to test and put under a microscope whatever comes before it. The idea is to file things away in a continuous mental ‘Note-Making’, either by writing things down or retaining things in the mind.
When the Zodiac Sign of Virgo covers the 10th. House then one tends to be very respectful of duty and understands the value of a ‘Career’ which concentrates on the ‘Finer’ details. A problem can be that ‘Time’ can be lost through ‘Nervous Stress’ if the ‘Hours’ worked are ‘Over-Long’ and strenuous. One can be very aware with this combination that those in authority pay critical attention to how one works so that here again one can suffer through such an awareness and will be far more attentive to being precise in the way one works with the material given, the copious ‘Mental Notes’ and one’s ‘Method’ of working. When it comes to working with others, one might expect them to work in a lower order and know the material given. No matter how one acts after work, during working hours, one might ‘Work’ for as a ‘Healthy Cause’!
To gain deeper insight into how and where Elizabeth Taylor would be ‘Precise’ and pay attention to detail, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Virgo is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Virgo is the ‘Practical’ and ‘Discerning’ planet of Mercury and Mercury, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Pisces in the 3rd. House.
Once again, it would seem with the planet Mercury ‘Drifting’ in from the ‘Past’ to settle into the ‘Communicative’ 3rd. House, Elizabeth Taylor’s thoughts are reconciled to remembering the lessons taught to her from early childhood ‘Conditioning’. This implies that she would ‘Habitually’ tend to reason out what has to be said, when it comes to her ‘Career’, that she follows the methods of instruction that were ‘Immersed’ in ‘Memory Patterns’. In a way, Elizabeth Taylor did not have to think, her reactions within communication were instinctive, to say what she always said as in the past. This sense of reasoning lies deep within the psychology, so that she worked through areas of impressions and would say what written in a script. In this way, she would be a very fine actress, though often confused within her thinking as to what was ‘acted’ and what was ‘Real Life’.
It’s often a case, with this combination of Mercury in Pisces, that enforced concentration can have the ‘Mind’ drifting off, escaping into ‘Daydreaming’ so that one tends to forget what is instructed and, in this case, Elizabeth Taylor would have often drifted back into happier days of the past when put under too much pressure. In this way there would have been times when she would have to ‘Pull’ herself together and gain sense of ‘Self-Awareness’, being lost in dreams of the past, becoming ‘Drunk’ on ‘Salad days’ when she ‘Bathed’ in the ‘Sunshine’ of working without the worry of h0ow others saw her performance. As she aged, she became more ‘Self-Critical’ of her ability to please and audience and this caused her to seek escapes through ‘Losing’ herself in thoughts of the past.THE ELEVENTH HOUSE.
HOPES AND WISHES.The 11th. House indicates an area within the life which deals with one’s ‘Hopes’ and ‘Wishes’ for the future, one’s expectations and what one ‘Aspires’ to in the life. It is what one what one might look forward to, although there has to be some forethought and planning, otherwise what is expected can be reversed and the unexpected will cause trouble. This Housing also indicates one’s ‘Social’ outlook, how one thinks about ‘Hobbies’ and socialising within groups. The 11th. House indicates whatever lies outside the area of the ‘Working Life’. There is a need for friendships and so life would relate to those friends who are involved with group efforts. The 11th. House also deals with ‘Ideals’ and what ‘Causes’ one might fight for, ‘Humanitarian’ causes which need ‘Up-Dating’ so that justice prevails and the ‘Ideal’ becomes the ‘Norm’.
The Zodiac Sign of Libra indicates an area of life which represents the idea of ‘Peace’ and ‘Harmony’, to have things in ‘Balance’ so that whatever is represented is stable and well-balanced. Libra indicates what is ‘Related’ to and concerns the area of ‘Relationships’, how one thing relates to another, to ‘Love’ or ‘Like’ what gives a sense of ‘Justice’ and ‘Fair Play’. Libra urges a desire to please, to like and be like in a reciprocal sense. It is the ‘Ying and Yang’ of living in harmony, with whatever exists. The enterprise is to be sociable, to exhibit charm, tact and diplomacy so that an area of ‘Peace’ is perfected. The nature is to be ‘Aesthetic, to see the beauty in all things which please the eye because what is seen can be related to ‘Communication’ and to be informative within the rounds of the ‘Social Whirl’.
When the Zodiac Sign of Libra covers the 11th. House then one might well join ‘Group Alliances’ in an effort to seek ‘Social Justice’ on behalf of those whom are being treated unjustly and unfairly. One may fight to get the rules changes so that the ‘Balance’ of ‘Power’ is swayed in favour of what is seen as laws and authoritative moves which are seen as ‘Outmoded’ and ‘Outdated’, those laws which need to be changed so they fit in with the ‘Social Climate’ of the day. Relationships are all about the ‘Friends’ one has, one meets through ‘Clubs’ and venues which are entertaining and open to the public. One will aspire to be admired and liked, to mix with the ‘In-Crowd’, although there is a need to be seen as being ‘Independent’ of the ‘Lower Classes’ those whom fight to get noticed or the ‘Name-Droppers’ those who like to be ‘Known’ through ‘Association’, with those who are ‘Acclaimed’.
To gain deeper insight into how Elizabeth Taylor would relate to the sense of ‘Aspiration’ and ‘Group Efforts’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Libra is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Libra is the ‘Engaging’ and ‘Attractive’ planet of Venus and Venus, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Aries in the 5th. House.
When the planet Venus is domiciled in Aries then one displays an ardent and quick nature that can impulsively fall in and out of love, always looking for the ‘Ideal’ relationship which can keep the idea of love moving at a fast and exciting rate. The problem with this combination is that, whilst Venus demands a relationship which gathers pace and moves forward, so that one might demand the idea of total commitment, ending in marriage. The relationship can begins to tire just as quickly as it started, as the fire loses its spark, so one begins to move away. The reason is that Aries, the Zodiac Sign of the ‘Me First’ principle satisfies the energy of the ‘Self’ and, having enjoyed the co-joining, the ‘self’ then wants freedom, an independence, to be free of the relative hold another has on one.
It has to be noted that Venus in Aries, domiciled in the 5th. House of exciting ‘Creative’ love-affairs, is co-joined with the planet of Uranus and this conjunction of these two planets will definitely create some fireworks and explosive dramatic interplays within any partnerships, so that a ‘Love-Affair’ is at the mercy of a ‘Light-switch’ that turns on and off at ‘Will’. In this way the idea of ‘Relating’ and ‘Independence’ are really at ‘Loggerheads’ and ‘Break-Ups’ and ‘Break-Downs’ are part of Elizabeth Taylor’s fate when it comes to love. But, with Venus ‘Extended’ from Libra in the 11th. House, she would have always been looking for a ‘Relationship’ in the ‘Future’, always wanting to be with the ‘In-Crowd’, using the ‘Social-Set’ as a means of attracting another relationship which would quickly begin and just as quickly ‘Burst’ apart at the seams! THE TWELFTH HOUSE.
DREAMS AND IMAGINATION.The 12th. House is an area which indicates ‘Dreams’ and the sense of one’s ‘Imagination’, an area through which one might escape from the hardships of the harsh side of life. It signifies a greater sense of compassion and sympathy which can cause ‘Guilt Complexes’ and, through feelings of guilt, urge one to make ‘Sacrifices’, to give up one’s time and seek a higher cause to serve.
In some respects, the 12th. House can confuse the energy of what one believes. Should one have experienced a hard earlier life then one can believe in ‘Bad Luck’ and superstitions, ‘Bogeymen’ and the like. In a way, the 12th. House can be a confusion of ‘Early Memories’ which cause an enlarged imagination which brings fear and the need to run away from life. One is alive to the nature of ‘Impressions’.
The Zodiac Sign of Scorpio indicates an area of life which instigates the desire to ‘Share’ and ‘Transform’ whatever restricts the nature of evolvement and change within the nature. It urges the desire to get ‘Rid’ off what is ‘Bottling Up’ the continuation and the furthering of an easy ‘Flow’ to the ‘Life-Force’. Scorpio is the ‘Hidden Force’ which creates space for a constructive ‘New Beginnings’ to be released. It is the ‘Hidden’ and ‘Secret’ procreative power which lies within the Psyche. Scorpio indicates a need to ‘Bring to Light’ what lies hidden within, so that what is discovered is then ‘Shared’. It is the ‘Transformative Agent’, the force of enlightenment which allows a further growth to the life. Scorpio is the urge to partner another so that the ‘Shared Interests’ give birth to a new ‘Created’ source which elevates the nature, allowing one to ‘Rise;’ from the ‘Ashes’ of the restrictive ‘Past’.
When the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio covers the 12th. House then one might ‘Dream’ of making changes in the life which will enhance one’s sense of creativity. Often there is a strong determination to make dreams come true, through sheer strength of ‘Will-Power’, although this can also cause the fear that one would have to lose something to make gains. This combination can cause one to become dependent on another or on substitutes which give a ‘High’, to take away the feelings which can give depressive ‘Illuminations’, feeling that one cannot handle life on their own. Obviously, with Scorpio resident, the sense of ‘Sexual’ longing would come into it and the intention is to have the ‘Will-Power’ to ‘Transcend’ the basic emotions, sexual urges, so that one can rise above the need and gain ‘Spiritual Enlightenment’. It’s often the case that one becomes addicted to ‘Love’ for its ‘Spiritual High’!
To gain deeper insight into how and where Elizabeth Taylor would use the ‘Transformative Agent’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Scorpio is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Scorpio is the ‘Transforming’ and ‘Forceful’ planet of Pluto and Pluto, in Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Cancer in the 8th. House.
When the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio covers the 12th. House then one can be determined to make dreams come true, to ‘Transform’ illusions into reality though, to do this can mean that one has to ‘Sacrifice’ part of the life in some way and this implies a need to ‘Transcend’ the basic emotions so that one forgoes the areas of ‘Physical’ love, to love on a ‘Higher Plane’, a spiritual love, as a ‘Nun’ loves ‘Christ’. However with Elizabeth Taylor’s Birth Chart, the implication is that the need to ‘Let Go’ of the feelings for physical contact would cause to much of a ‘Sacrifice’, to let go of the past and ‘Begin Again’.
With Pluto seated in the 8th. House, the indication was that she held on grimly to the past, a reminder of times when she had ‘Shared’ her life with another, to begin a ‘Family’ enterprise then to lose it all through death. The bitter emotive memory brought about a fear of allowing a familiar ‘Growth Pattern’ to begin, so that Elizabeth Taylor ‘Psychologically’ lost the ‘Will’ to procreate from a ‘Joint Sharing’ and in this way, cared only for ‘Personal Security’ through the ‘Obsession’ to have those she ‘Shared’ physical contact with as slaves to her drives. The need was to keep what she had and fear ‘Letting Go’ of those who became ‘Moths’ to her emotive ‘Beacon’. Elizabeth Taylor used physical love as a means of having power over others, refusing to let go of the ‘Hold’ until she was ready to do so. Should one try to leave then she would be determined to regain control, psychologically fearing that the loss of control meant the demise of her ‘Sexual Power’.
