THIS BEAUTIFUL ROUND.Who is to argue of this Earth’s affair
This majestic orb, which orbits the Sun
Humanity does graze to a timed share
From when an inhabit was first begun
Who would argue over land never owned
Or any flower which smiles to the Sun
We exist for a pleasuring and loaned
This life’s experience, energy’s run
What is a rock, or a mountainous range
Can we take it with us when we expire
Is this Earth contracted, for our arrange
It outlives us all, this gracious entire
What is sad war, when no battle is won
This beautiful round is tied to the Sun
FREE TO LOVEA candle in flickered glow casts a light
In air’s fancy shadows play on the wall
It animates high in a dancing flight
The freedom of air to rise and to fall
That which is bound by any restriction
Is a sad affair, barred heights of pleasure
The tie of bonds is heat caused by friction
Bonds of duty which give no sweet leisure
Love has to have room, so let none ignore
The candle that dances its shadow’s glow
Is in pleasure’s flight and shines all the more
It follows at will and goes with the flow
Love in its lighting is a danced affair
A candle’s flame in the freedom of air
A SUN’S RETIRE.How might the eye, to a beauty’s select
See an evening’s fall without a sigh
This magic setting, this vibrant connect
Where Sun is to exit the reddened sky
The dusking purple colours to a mauve
Ablaze to the night as the sun dissolves
Then red to a deep blue and black to clothe
And darkness awaits the dawn to evolve
In a wait of slow to determined hours
The Sun is brightening a southern light
To turn full circle and dawning showers
To lift the curtain from a darkest night
Sun’s decline is a wait for its return
And sweet the day for its glorious burn
THE HEART OF A CLOWN.What is love but a poor heart’s masquerade
Foolish is he who wears a comfort’s mask
He who qualifies for the joker’s trade
Yet disqualified from sweet true love’s task
Behind the mask is fear, a distraction
To share his heart, tender love’s nicety
But he plays full to clown’s satisfaction
That none see the sad authenticity
Love qualifies for where the heart roves
The heart is full, of exposure expressed
Serious intention wears jester’s clothes
All precious is he when love has him dressed
You lovers who clown with love, have advice
When you laugh then have it naughty but nice
IN MEMORYSad memories, red poppies in love’s field
That hears hard whispers from a past’s living
And back to a time when poor dying stilled
When echoes of pain quartered no giving
Yet in sweet gladness is my poppy’s nest
To rest beneath, there lies sanctuary
And with our dear God are they ever blessed
Alive to our minds in sweet memory
In darkness yet under clear skies above
The soft sounds of life each lived to a past
The time lived in joy and to endless love
Take with them the memories, to a last
Sad is thought’s feeding, avidly tasted
Red poppy’s love, for the brave so wasted
THE PARK BENCH.Is it that age loses its vibrancy
That it goes unnoticed, a paling grey
Lost is the old, who has seniority
An elderly, who has outlived his stay
Now in an empty station sits the bench
A cold comfort in its green peeling faint
And the quiet rain in soft water’s drench
Erases the old man’s memory’s paint
Now is the park to a dark and gentle
Even the birds, now unfed, move away
Those who pass by are not sentimental
To the loss, the old man’s regular stay
Generosity is theirs, to heart’s wrench
In awareness of the empty park bench
SHARED LOVEEgo is confidence, hard self-belief
An inner image of pleasured success
But self-love is a mountain’s living brief
Which holds to the self and offering less
It fills a heart with future’s ambition
No warmth heats any heart that stands alone
Shared love’s a joy of Heaven’s admission
Self-centered state is the heart on its own
A cold mountain none ever hope to climb
Which tips a nod to harsh airing and cloud
The sad rock will crumble to dust in time
But two hearts are an endless time allowed
Know that one heart has a coldness beating
While a love’s joy has two hearts in heating
THIS DARLING EARTH.What favour does this darling earth display
That comforts, so it tames the warring heart
See the Lion and the Lamb in soft lay
A gentling worth, this draw’s endearing art
Precious, the white Rose is lofted to high
Yet the weed surrenders itself below
And upward, it casts a gladdening eye
To share the same soil and sweeter they grow
How beauteous, this wondrous seeding
Should all look to nature’s tender styling
What in dear heaven has more exceeding
This heaven’s earth, this precious beguiling
Who are we, that we prime such vanity
To lose such a love, poor humanity

Mae West was an American actress, playwright, screenwriter, and sex symbol. Famous for her bawdy double entendres, West made a name for herself in Vaudeville and on stage in New York before moving to Hollywood, becoming renowned as a comedienne, actress and writer in the motion picture industry.
Born Mary Jane West, into a ‘Middle-Class’ Protestant family, Mae West started performing aged five, turning professional aged twelve, as ‘Baby Vamp’. Her first starring role on Broadway was in a play titled ‘Sex’, which she also wrote, produced and directed. The notorious production did not go well with city officials and the theatre was raided, with West arrested along with the cast. She was prosecuted on morals charges and, on April 19, 1927, was sentenced to 10 days in jail for public obscenity. May West continued to write plays including The Wicked Age, Pleasure Man and The Constant Sinner. Her productions were plagued by controversy and other problems, which actually resulted in packed performances. In 1932, West signed a contract with ‘Paramount’ and went to Hollywood to appear in ‘Night After Night’, starring George Raft. West appeared in her last movie during the studio age with ‘The Heat's On’, (1943), for Columbia. She remained active during the ensuing years. Among her stage performances was the title role in ‘Catherine Was Great’ (1944).
May West also made some rare appearances on television, including The Red Skelton Show, in 1960. West also recorded two Rock and Roll albums, ‘Way Out West’ and ‘Wild Christmas’, in the late 1960s’. After a 26-year absence from motion pictures, she appeared in a role as Leticia Van Allen in Gore Vidal's Myra Breckinridge (1970). In 1976, she appeared on The Dick Cavett Show, giving insights into her proclivity toward vulgar humour and her battle with censorship. Mae West died in November 1980.
THE FIRST HOUSE.
TAURUS RISING SIGN.
SELF-PROJECTION.
Self-Projection indicates the way one would project the ‘Self’ out into the public eye and how others see them, though not necessarily how they really are. It indicates how one goes through life, the basic energy used to secure what is needed as an instinctive self-protective measure, either within an aggressive or defensive mode. This is a statement of the ‘Me First’ attitude, the way one activates the ‘Self’ in a selfish way, though the intention is to put the ‘Self’ to the front and make gains and not simply to make war. The 1st. House can be explained as being the ‘Unconscious Mask’ that one wears, a ‘Psychological’ guise so that others may not instantly recognise what weaknesses lay beneath the cover. The 1st. House is the ‘Unconscious’ disguise that raises one above the lesser animals, that one unconsciously hides instinctive reactions towards others.
The Zodiac Sign of Taurus represents the urge for ‘Financial Security’. It indicates what is purchased so that the sense of security is obtained through what is ‘Possessed’, what is materially gained that benefits the sense of ‘Well Being’. Acquisition is urged through a slow and careful ‘Build-Up’, prudent and cautious in what is paid for. The sense is that ‘Ownership is Power’ and that, with the build-up of property comes security. Taurus indicates a nature which is stubbornly fixed, tenacious in acquiring what is needed as a ‘Stronghold’, a ‘Vault’ of ‘Security’. The urge is to ‘Own’, to ‘Possess’ as an understanding that what one possesses is the mark of one’s ‘Status’ in life and will gain respect. Psychologically, Taurus represents ‘Good Taste’.
When Taurus covers the 1st. House in a Birth Chart then one will project the ‘Self’ in a cautious and patient manner. The nature is generous and attentive, although very stubborn if one opposes what it comes up against. Again, there can be forms of belligerence if upset, though it can take a lot to do this. Mostly, the nature tends to be restrained and calm, always looking for the ‘Better’ things in life. The tendency is to be materialistic, with an eye for a bargain but, here again, not over-greedy and not into a quick or cheap buy. One tends to have ‘Good Taste’ and will enjoy socialising and eating out at the best places, if finances allow. Generally, one keeps a tight eye on expenses and will be quite a haggler when buying. Often the Taurus in 1st. House can be drawn into property and estate business.
To gain deeper insight into how and what Mae West would purchase and accumulate as a need to gain sense of ‘Financial Security’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Taurus is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign the Ruling planet of Taurus is seated and in what area of life it extends into, what House is covered. It is known that the Ruling planet of Taurus in Mae West’s Birth Chart is the ‘Materialistic’ and ‘Evaluating’ planet of Venus and Venus is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Cancer in the 2nd. House.
With the planet Venus ‘Extended’ from Taurus into Cancer in the 2nd. House of Cancer it indicates that Mae West would be quite ‘Self-Indulgent’ and ‘Hedonistic’, enjoying the fruits of life and buying what she could afford. Her sense of ‘Emotional Security’ was very much ruled by her sense of ‘Financial Security’. This means that, without money, to feed and clothe herself in the very best would have had an immediate effect of causing depression and led to a demoralising state of dependency on drink and drugs. However, it is known that this ‘High-Paid’ actress lived the ‘Good-Life’ and also knew how to enjoy the quality of wealthy ‘Friends’. Mae West lived in a very ‘Self-Centred’ world of ‘Opulence’ and knew how to drive a good bargain so that she would get the best of the ‘Barter’.
With Venus seated in the Zodiac Sign of Cancer in the 2nd. House, Mae West would have always kept a close eye on ‘Income’ and ‘Outgoings’ as a matter of‘Habit’. She knew the power of finance, having learned from early childhood that money counted in life. In this way she made sure that she always had a fully-stocked cupboard and a roof over her head. The basic need was to be able to offer the best to anyone who stayed under her roof. It would have been very important for her to be ‘Settled’ and not quick to venture out into the world beyond her ‘Castle’, which is why she always invited others into her home with those famous lines… ‘Why don’t you come up and see me sometimes’. Her door was always open, especially to those she considered to be her family. But, when it came to ‘Financial Security’, what she bought she had great attachment to and those things represented her ‘Emotional Comfort’.
THE SECOND HOUSE.
FINANCIAL SECURITY.
What is meant by Financial Security is the way in which one protects the self through the sense of material possessions. It implies the need to own possessions in a practical way, to slowly build up what is needed so that it gives a solid foundation, a sense of Financial Security. One might save up and buy a house so that roots are put down, a base from which one can continue to work, to have space for more possessions. The implication is what one spends money on and indicates an area of what is needed, what one needs to possess in life as a practical building block so that one feels secure. The idea is to patiently wait and slowly build up the stack a block at a time, so that one can afford to end up living in a ‘Financial Castle’, to have the ‘Possessions’ which prove one’s worth, what one has worked for in the life.
The Zodiac Sign of Gemini indicates an area of life in which the effort of communication is the medium which allows a sense of understanding, of what is going on in the world. Gemini instigates conversation, the method and logic used to construct what is communicated. Communication can be expressed through the mediums of speech and/or writing, whatever is needed to gain and pass on information. Gemini instigates mental curiosity and the urge to keep on the move in a restless way so that the mind becomes a ‘Busy Bee’, stopping at each flower of information and then passing the informative ‘Pollen’ on to other flowering ears. The nature of Gemini is to instigate conversation within the local environment, as a local newspaper ‘Reporter’, one who is not bogged down with heavy duty or concentrated effort.
When the Zodiac Sign of Gemini covers the 2nd. House then one might have many ‘Fingers in the Pie’. By that is meant that one is never happy with the boredom of routine and likes to be busy and to have various things going on at once, especially when it comes to ‘Financial Security’, one will have more than one string to a ‘Fiddle’. Generally, one with this combination will allow money to do the ‘Talking’ and finances can always be on the mind, so that one works within an industry which allows a lot of ‘Communicative’ spirit, to work within the media in some way. One can be drawn to working as a telephone operator or wherever the ‘Voice’ communicates attention. Financial Security has to be in there somewhere, the mind sharp and acquisitive so that how one thinks is the most convenient method of financial consideration.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use the sense of ‘Communication’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Gemini is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Gemini is the ‘Quick-Silver’ and ‘Mercurial’ planet of Mercury and Mercury, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Virgo in the 4th. House.
When it comes to ‘Financial Security’, Mae West would tend to ‘Habitually’ keep a cool head on her shoulders. It would have been customary for her to reason out where a profit was to be made and to only buy what she felt was needed. In a way, she would have kept to a routine of what she did, understanding that method and logic were the things which kept her finances stable. This did not mean that she did not spend lavishly, it simply meant that she would keep ‘Tabs’ on expenditures and find ways of putting the costs down as ‘Expenses’, thereby having her ‘Bosses’ pay for it. There’s no doubting her love of communicating and the telephone bill would have been heavy. With Mercury in Virgo, there would not have been much wastage and her habitual thinking would have been ‘Waste not-Want not’!
Mae West would have kept a keen eye on her ‘Bill of Health’. She would have known that ill-health would mean no work, so that diets and health fads would have been within the reading material stacking her shelves at home. Again, money would have been spent on things of ‘Personal Hygiene’, especially medications for the throat and nerves. It can be the case, with this combination, that nerves could cause a loss of voice, so that Mae West paid particular attention to the vocal chords, understanding that the sensuality in her voice, the cool reflection which sounded sensual and attractive to men, was her ‘Calling Card’ and paid the bills. Underneath it all, Mae West was the consummate actress, knowing when and how to time her words so that such expressive actions paid a handsome profit.
THE THIRD HOUSE.
COMMUNICATIVE SPIRIT.
The 3rd. House deals with the 'Spirit' of communication and this implies the way in which one thinks, one’s method of logic, expressed through the mediums of speech and writing. It is how one communicates within the local environment and the way information is gained and conveyed to others. This is an area of everyday conversation, what one might talk about and whom to. The sense of communication is light-hearted and conducted in a spirited way. One tends to say what is immediately thought in a habitual way, with a sense of humour which can often come over as ‘Flighty’ and ‘Flirtatious’. Often, this area of communication can show how one will convey ideas and how one might communicate with siblings, relatives and neighbours. Quick visits are enjoyed, perhaps a ‘Week-End’ break to gain more information to pass on.
The Zodiac Sign of Cancer tends to be cautious and extremely sensitive to atmospheres, unhappy to be suddenly placed into new situations, so that one needs time to become accustomed to what is presented. One is quick to sense if another makes a ‘Personal Attack’ and will become ‘Moody’ and ‘Crabby’ until the offender is removed. In this way one will often project the ‘Self’ as a tough prospect though this is an act, the projection of a tough exterior which protects the soft ‘Inner Core’. One is protective of the ‘Home’ and the ‘Family’, feeling that one is always able to manage and will take on the responsibility, as the ‘Head’ of the family. One acts as the ‘Mother Hen’ or the ‘Rooster’, the protector within the ‘Chicken Coop’, the one who always ‘Manages’ to do what it sets out to do.
When the Zodiac Sign of Cancer covers the 3rd. House then one tends to allow what is felt to colour the thinking so that one will often say what one feels is instinctively right. Psychologically, one might become ‘Crabby’ should one feel that others make personal remarks, that one can quickly take things very personal and respond with an attack that lets another know how one feels. Again, there can be times when one will go into one’s ‘Shell’, times when the mood is not to talk so that there can be times of depressive thinking. Again, such thoughts can relate to the earlier childhood conditioning in that, if the childhood had been hard and under-nourished with love then the thinking can be coloured by depressive emotive sensations. However, it can be said that the past gives colour to the effort of communication.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use the instinctive nurturing and ‘Mothering’ action, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Cancer is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Cancer is the ‘Sensitive’ and ‘Emotional’ Moon and the Moon, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Cancer in the 2nd. House.
This combination, of the Moon in Cancer in the 2nd. House, gives indication that Mae West would ‘Feed’ herself on ‘Financial Fixation’, meaning that she would feel in excellent ‘Emotional’ condition as long as she felt ‘Financially Secure’. If she could not afford to buy whatever made her feel good, the best of everything, then she would certainly have become depressed and starved. Psychologically, having the cupboard full of ‘Goodies’ and the money to buy them was a subconscious ‘Transference’ of ‘Emotional Starvation’ to the physical urge to fill herself up with material benefits. In many respects, being able to feel ‘Well-Fed’ made up for her past and a ‘Home’ which was bare of ‘Cupboard-Love’. Mae West would have been very much at ‘Home’ when discussing finances and the affording of luxuries. Such thoughts would make her feel safe and ‘Financially Protected’.
Often, this combination would cause an instinctive urge to purchase a home which becomes a castle with a moat and drawbridge. This again is psychological in that Mae West would be in the position to stay within the concrete walls of her castle and draw up the drawbridge, only lowering it to those she felt she could trust and would talk to. She would not have been quick to trust strangers, feeling safer with those she was ‘Familiar’ with and, while her statements might sound familiar and ‘Throw-Away’ in a suggestive sense, she would have been more cautious as to whom she accepted into her ‘Family’ circle. Her lifestyle would be sumptuous and luxurious, as would be her language when she felt good. One might state that her language would be rich and colourful, though flavoured with sharpness, reflecting on what her mood was at the time.
THE FOURTH HOUSE.
EMOTIONAL SECURITY.
Emotional Security is all about how one feels, one’s sense of atmosphere and how one ‘Feels’ about the past. In many respects, the way one lived in the past reflects on how one deals with what is within the present. If one had a good early home-life, the past being kind, this would be reflected in the way one reacts to present situations, and vice-versa. Emotional Security is all about atmospheres and one's reactions to them and in this way one will react to early childhood conditioning. The 4th. House gives indication of the ‘Nurturing Spirit’ and how one is able to put down ‘Roots’, to become settled in ‘Later’ life. Often, this House can cause ‘Phobias’ and ‘Neurosis’, brought about through times of stress the ‘Mother’ might have gone through during the term of ‘Pregnancy’.
The Zodiac Sign of Leo tends to give an act of breezy confidence, a bearing which can seem to light up the room when one walks in. The nature is to be ‘Sunny’ and 'Generous', one is ‘Good-Hearted’ and with a tendency to put others at their ease. One will always be surrounded by friends, although one tends to treat friends in a courteous way, as if they are more in attendance than enjoying the intimacy of company. One has a strong ‘Creative’ sense of fun, the 'Will' to enjoy life and likes to organise whatever goes on around them, to offer favours with a ‘Royal’ wave of the hand. However, the urge is to expect some applause for the way one acts, as if one is on ‘Show’ all the time and for the favours bestowed on others. ‘Haughtiness’ and a grand sense of ‘Pride’ can be reflected in the dramatic nature of ‘Presentation’ when in the public eye.
When the Zodiac Sign of Leo covers the 4th. House then one would be very much at ‘Home’ through a naturally creative talent. The instinct is to ‘Show Off’ in some way and to feel the urge to break away from traditions, to leave the past behind and to create a new lineage in some way. There can be a talent for ‘Interior Design’ work and in working with children, to create a ‘Homely’ atmosphere so that the home becomes a palace, somewhere to be proud of and to treat children as Princes and Princesses. The kitchen can be a big draw and one might have very good culinary skills, able to create a masterpiece if called to do so. One can be very much at ‘Home’ on a stage, playing a ‘Starring Role’ and with a liking for being on ‘Centre-Stage’. Feelings are warm and one will create an atmosphere which plays to the audience.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use the ‘Spontaneous’ sense of ‘Creativity’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Leo is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Leo is the ‘Generous’ and ‘Good-Hearted’ Sun and the Sun, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Leo in the 4th. House.
With the Sun in Leo, this enhances the positive and proud nature, also the desire to exhibit a generous and warm style of leadership, with a grand sense of pride and when the Sun in Leo is carried to the 4th. House then one would certainly be at home when ‘Showing Off’ on ‘Centre-Stage’. There would be some melodramas in Mae West’s life, simply because she would like the feel of a heated atmosphere and to push her way through as if she played a ‘Queenly’ role, having a natural talent for getting noticed. With her Sun in 4th. House, Mae West would feel the urge to gain recognition and applause for whatever she did and might always feel, underneath, that she never got the applause she deserved.
Mae West would love to live in a palace, somewhere where she could create a real sense of drama, so that her home would be more of a ‘Film-Set’ than a home set up for a family. In many respects, she would have wanted to be the centre of attention and this meant there was no room for others to share the starring role. With this combination, Mae West would dislike being told what to do by authorities, being a law unto herself, so that should she be told or ordered, she would instinctively react like a wounded Lioness, her pride would be hurt and she would not back down, being naturally stubborn and over-proud. With this combination, beauty would be a natural talent and she would take care over her hair and the clothes she wore, all part of the make-up and the dramatic creation within her life.
THE FIFTH HOUSE.
NATURAL CREATIVITY.
The 5th. House in one's Birth Chart indicates an area where one expresses an ‘Instinctive’ sense of 'Natural Creativity'. It implies where one has natural ‘Flair’, where one has ‘Pride’ and the need to ‘Show-Off’ what comes naturally. The sense of ‘Natural Creativity’ can come through spontaneous ideas. This can also include taking a chance on romance, the idea of creating a sense of adventure and lead a ‘Merry Chase’. A gamble and sense of fun will also come under the influence of creativity, as does poetry and other artistic forms. The sense is to be proud of what one creates, as a Mother is proud of the 'Child' she has created. The 5th. House accentuates a pride in leadership and good organising abilities and an ability to take dramatic parts in ‘Role-Playing, to dramatise scenes within the life’s role.
The Zodiac Sign of Virgo indicates an area of life which is under discernment, the ability to discern what constitutes a healthy presence and to understand what is ‘Needed’ to keep things flowing. The nature of Virgo is to keep the ‘Engine’ of life well oiled. The Zodiac Virgo gives reference to what is ‘Perfect’ and the ‘Need’ to have things in their rightful place and working to a perfect rhythm so that the ‘Machine’ of both, body and mind, work in perfect harmony and have no failings. Virgo is the spirit of what is ‘Healthy’ and will tend to ‘Doubt’ what is not put under scrutiny. In this way the nature of Virgo is to discern and discriminate, to test and put under a microscope whatever comes before it. The idea is to file things away in a continuous mental ‘Note-Making’, either by writing things down or retaining things in the mind.
When the Zodiac Sign of Virgo covers the 5th. House then one seeks fulfillment through a creative need to work for the benefit of others. One will take pride in a sense of resourcefulness and within creating a routine so that things work on time, without the dramatic breakdowns which stop the health of the machinery. The desire is to keep things running perfectly and to have pride in the way one uses ‘Time’ as an element of precision, to get things done on time and to have perfection. One seeks to be instructive and to read a script carefully so that the stage is always a masterpiece of precision engineering. Again, one understands that there is a time for work and a time for play, to know that too much intensive pressure can cause health problems and frayed nerves. One plays a leading role in keeping things healthy.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use the sense of ‘Precise Thinking’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Virgo is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Virgo is the ‘Practical’ and ‘Analytical’ planet of Mercury and Mercury, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Virgo in the 4th. House.
When the planet Mercury is seated in Virgo in the 4th. House then one might continually reflect and worry about health and dietary problems, so that one suffers from nervous reactions and digestive problems. However, the tendency is to keep to a healthy regime, although this can become a dependency on tablets and such. Much is to do with keeping the emotions under control by strengthening the mind so that one has ‘Mental Control’ over instinctive actions. With this combination, Mae West would take pride in having a retentive memory, able to read her lines and remember every one so that she can recite them perfectly well. She would have enjoyed researching the history of what she had to prepare for, leaving nothing to chance.
Mae West would not have been one to accept the decisions of others, feeling that she knew best. In many respects she disliked anything she saw as interference in her life and even disallowed the past to cause emotional blockages, so that she had carried no ‘Baggage’ of past mishaps in her life. She would have looked at whatever she did with an analytical mind, analysing both the good and bad points as reference and, having made a mental note, dismissed them. Often, this combination gives a mine of information and Mae West might have been at her best when giving advice to others, very ‘Mothering’ when dealing with the needs of those who asked her for help. One has to always take note that, in this situation, too much stress or overwork could bring about dramatic nervous reactions, so that one had to be wary of mental-health problems.
THE SIXTH HOUSE.
PRACTICAL CO-WORKING.
The 6th. House in one’s Birth Chart indicates an area which denotes one’s sense of ‘Co-Operating’ and practically ‘Co-Working’ with others. By ‘Practical Co-Working’ is meant how one applies the ‘Self’ to any form of practical work which involves working with others and how one gets along with the ‘Fellow-Workers’. This also applies to one’s sense of time, how one deals with the idea of routine and regulations, how one deals with detail as well as the sense of tidiness within working ethics. The 6th. House gives an idea of one’s method and practical knowledge as well as ideas about health and dietary habits. The idea was to have things working in perfect health, to be well-oiled and to show the practical skills, the co-operation between hand and mind. The ‘Need’ is for ‘Precision’ and to be ‘Needed’.
The Zodiac Sign of Libra indicates an area of life which represents the idea of ‘Peace’ and ‘Harmony’, to have things in ‘Balance’ so that whatever is represented is stable and well-balanced. Libra indicates what is ‘Related’ to and concerns the area of ‘Relationships’, how one thing relates to another, to ‘Love’ or ‘Like’ what gives a sense of ‘Justice’ and ‘Fair Play’. Libra urges a desire to please, to like and be liked in a reciprocal sense. It is the ‘Ying and Yang’ of living in harmony, with whatever exists. The enterprise is to be sociable, to exhibit charm, tact and diplomacy so that an area of ‘Peace’ is perfected. The nature is to be ‘Aesthetic’, to see the beauty in all things which please the eye because what is seen can be related to ‘Communication’ and to be informative within the rounds of the ‘Social Whirl’.
When the Zodiac Sign of Libra is seated in the 6th. House then one seeks to balance life in a way that work and love co-operate, in a way that one does not unbalance the other. The nature is to gain sense of any relative problems through the aid of another, or those whom might impart the information so that one gains confidence, that one is perfect in the eyes of those whom one relates to. One can relate to others in a co-operative sense, by being tactful and fair and by doing a fair share of the workload. There is a need to share the responsibility with others for any action taken which does not work out, so that one relates to justice. With Libra covering the 6th. House, one will side with another should a cause arise which needs justifying. One relates to a sense of social justice and to fight for a cause so that a fair outcome is ascertained. One can be drawn towards work within the medical and beauty fields, there is often a good sense of technical skills, an eye for precision. The need is to find a balance between work and pleasure.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use the sense of ‘Tact’ and ‘Diplomacy’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Libra is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Libra is the ‘Magnetic’ and ‘Attractive’ planet of Venus and Venus, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Cancer in the 2nd. House.
In many ways, Mae West certainly would mix work with pleasure and might have never seen the difference between the two. To her, work was the pleasure of making money and money was for pleasure and so she needed no discernment. Again, she was in the traditional game of being beautiful, of spending money on whatever beauty prospects were on the market at the time and so work was a beautiful way of spending time and money. Again, Mae West would be in the mood for fun at the drop of a hat and always in the mood to be in fashion. However, she was also a person whom made up her own rules and applied them to her work. In this way, breaking the law of the land may well have her ‘Serving Time’ and costing her some money in legal fees.
Mae West was in the business of being in the public eye, of having the public seeing her as a beautiful subject. To the women, she represented a rebel, someone other than just the ‘Little Woman’ who sat quiet. When she was in the mood to say something, she would speak her mind, whether it cost her or not. To men, she displayed a ‘Vampish’ nature, knowing that men would always spend money on the ‘Outrageous’. With Libra covering the 6th. House, Mae West did and said what she felt justified in saying, seeing her actions as simply part of her job. Though, with Venus ‘Extended’ into the 2nd. House, she would have been totally extravagant and always with an eye towards beauty. Had she been alive today and in her prime, her ‘Eye’ for the beauty business would have had her earning more money from selling beauty products than she ever could have done from her acting.
THE SEVENTH HOUSE.
LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS.
The 7th. House indicates an area of the life which deals with ‘Relationships’ and ‘Love’. It represents the ‘Give and Take’ within a relationship and deals with the qualities of what is fair and just. Whilst the word ‘Love’ is used, the idea of ‘Relationships’ is more to the point, in that the 7th. House indicates what one ‘Relates’ to. Relationships can include ‘Friendships’ and ‘Partnerships’, whatever attracts one to another whom might have a part of what is lacking in the ‘Self’. In this way one might need to relate to another who can give assurance or communicate so that one is given advice. The 7th. House can explain the sense of a ‘Magnetic’ quality, what attracts one and this can also include another’s sense of ‘Style’, of ‘Dress-Sense’, how and what one likes the ‘Look’ of.
The Zodiac Sign of Scorpio indicates an area of life which instigates the desire to ‘Share’ and ‘Transform’ whatever restricts the nature of evolvement and change within the nature. It urges the desire to get ‘Rid’ of what is ‘Bottling Up’ the continuation and the furthering of an easy ‘Flow’ to the ‘Life-Force’. Scorpio is the ‘Hidden Force’ which creates space for a constructive ‘New Beginning’ to be released. It is the ‘Hidden’ and ‘Secret’ procreative power which lies within the Psyche. Scorpio indicates a need to ‘Bring to Light’ what lies hidden within, so that what is discovered is then ‘Shared’. It is the ‘Transformative Agent’, the force of enlightenment which allows a further growth to the life. Scorpio is the urge to partner another so that the ‘Shared Interests’ give birth to a new ‘Created’ source which elevates the nature, allowing one to ‘Rise’ from the ‘Ashes’ of the restrictive ‘When the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio covers the 7th. House then the nature is to seek a relationship which might bring a change of structure to the way one worked, in that the dynamics of a relationship would cause one to allow another to dominate any situation so that the stronger nature of a partner would become the ‘Agent’ of change. A person would seek ‘Strength’ from another, taking notice so that one is ‘Modelled’ under another’s guidance. Often the need is to find a partner who would determine exactly what is needed, one who can relate to another’s needs. In this way, the whole nature of ‘Love’ can alter until one might feel one is more a ‘Subject’, a ‘Slave’ to a ‘Master/Mistress’ and this can bring explosive changes to the structure of Love, in that it can try to end, but is ‘Magnetised’ so one continues to ‘Return’ and begin again.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would need to bring to ‘Light’ the hidden action, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Scorpio is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Scorpio is the ‘Enlightening’ and ‘Transformative’ planet of Pluto and Pluto, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Gemini in the 1st. House.
When the planet Pluto is seated in Gemini and, especially in the 1st. House, then one is extremely forceful and strong-minded. And, with Mae West having this combination in her Birth Chart, it is certain that she would become suddenly volatile and explosive should another upset her. Once her mind was set, there was not much one could do about it. Once she said she was going to do something then she was a dynamo, continuing on the road, whether it destroyed her or not. Mentally, she drove herself and could make herself clear of intentions through forms of expletives which others had not heard a lady use before. When it came to getting her own way, she was determined and no-one stood in her way. In many respects, Mae West was a ‘Loner’, a lady who had many secrets and might not be adverse to a bit of ‘Blackmail’ if it served a purpose!
With Pluto in Gemini ‘Extended’ from Scorpio in the 7th. House of Relationships, it’s a safe bet that, when it came to any relationship, Mae West would not suffer being told what to do. She was nobody’s ‘Little Woman’ and could be violently opposed to anyone who tried to ‘Share’ her mind with her. She kept her thoughts to herself about those who were a threat to her, though highly intuitive, reading minds so that she quickly realised another’s weak points, the weakness of another’s psychology. This is what she used when she needed to prick the confidence of another, coming out with a public statement which ‘Killed Off’ all opposition to her displays. She made no bones about making public statements and demonstrating her power in public displays.
THE EIGHTH HOUSE.
SHARED RESOURCES.
The 8th. House has the energy of ‘Transformation’ in that one will seek another or something which, once forming an association, will transform the nature so that what one was used to is ‘Ended’ and a ‘New Beginning’ starts. The 8th. House represents a ‘Death’ and ‘Rebirth’, the transformation of one thing into another through the sense of sharing a concentrated source of ‘Power’. In many respects, the action is for the owner of the Birth Chart to surrender the ‘Self’ to the power of another, so that one draws into the self what power the other has, to share the ‘Power-Source’ so that the ‘Spirit’ of ‘Change’ is enforced. The nature of ‘Sharing’ will bring to light the ‘Hidden Unconscious Forces’ which will alter the shape of the ‘Life-Force’ so that one evolves and is elevated to a higher level. This House is deeply psychological and is the nature of dormant ‘Talent’.
The Zodiac Sign of Sagittarius indicates an area of life whereby the urge is to ‘Broaden one’s Horizons’ through the effort of travel and further studies. The energy instigates a need to discover the ‘Truth’, to go on a spiritual ‘Quest’ in search of the ‘Holy Grail’, the meaning of life and what can be believed. Sagittarius urges a strength of belief, what might give an ultimate ‘Faith’ in life. The aim of Sagittarius is to set goals and aims, to urge a sense of sporting optimism that all the goals are reached, the ‘Paths of Truth’ that break boundaries. One will go where there are no borders and break new grounds in this ‘Adventure’ which culminates, hopefully, in finding the ‘Fountain’ of ‘Faith’. Sagittarius espouses that ‘Knowledge is Power’ and that one can evolve and spiral once one has gained the knowledge which will give one complete ‘Faith’ in oneself.
When the Zodiac Sign of Sagittarius covers the 8th. House then one will tend to have a wide interest in hidden mysteries, to uncover ‘Secret Knowledge’ and to know what makes others ‘Tick’. There is a need to share this sense of knowledge with others, to expose any forms of hypocrisy and to bring sexual taboos to light. Knowledge would be sought about cultural beliefs, to know the truth, although one would feel there is more to the sexual nature, hidden within certain beliefs, that belief was founded of such sexual customs, like the Karma Sutra. One would be into experimental research and through personal experiences. The nature would be to seek a sense of ‘Union’ through emotional ‘Highs’, to gain sense of love through ‘Ultra-Mating’. Much is centred on revealing the hidden power of another within a relationship.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would be urged to seek the ‘Truth’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Sagittarius is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Sagittarius is the ‘Expanding’ and ‘Jovial’ planet of Jupiter and Jupiter, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Aries in the 11th. House.
The nature of Aries is the sense of ‘Me First!’ to have one’s ‘Self’ put first, like a child who demands to be fed first. And when the Zodiac Sign of Aries covers the 11th. House then one is very much concerned with one’s future, making sure that one is not considered to be one of the ‘Herd’. One tends to stand away from the group, as the ‘Lone Wolf’ belongs to the pack yet ranges just beyond the main pack. So it would have been with Mae West, in that she would have considered her own feelings first and moving away from those whom did not agree with her vote. With the planet Jupiter domiciled in Aries in the 11th. House, Mae West would have looked forward to each day as a time of growth, knowing she was her own Mistress and would do as she pleased, to choose whom she would partner, like the child whom demanded the largest and sweetest ‘Candy-Bar’ in a shop window.
Whilst Mae West would have appeared as a ‘Socialite’, she would only move within a group until she saw what she wanted, the man who would suit her purpose, and then she would leave the group, taking the man with her. She was a luxury of ‘Promise’ and would know every sensual trick in the book. Psychologically, she would gain a sense of ‘Superiority’, knowing how to bring a man to ‘Heel’, to take their ‘Ego’, their ‘Manhood’ and then dispense with them after having learned the ‘Secrets’ of their ‘Sexual Power’. She enjoyed taking risks, entirely confident in what she did. Many saw her as the ‘Black Witch’, mistress of the ‘Dark Arts’ of love. In many ways she enjoyed making other women jealous, knowing her own powers of persuasion was something men thirsted after.
THE NINTH HOUSE.
EXPANSION THROUGH EXPERIENCE.
The 9th. House indicates an area of the life whereby one will seek an expansion of the ‘Self’ through ‘Knowledge’. It indicates how one will search for forms of ‘Spiritual Experience’ so that one learns to find a value of belief, especially within the self. Expansion through experience is a measure of how and what one might learn through further and deeper studies and/or through distant travel which gives insight into foreign cultures which will ‘Broaden one’s Horizons’. Often there is a need to go on a quest, in search of the ‘Meaning of Life’ and to find out the ‘Truth’ of one’s existence. The belief can be that ‘Knowledge is Power’ and that should one gain a degree of knowledge then one can have ‘Self-Belief’, to go on to ‘Enthuse’ others, to teach others so they can also gain ‘Self-Belief’ and that to gain ‘Knowledge’ is why one lives on this Earth.
The Zodiac Sign of Capricorn indicates an area of life whereby the urge is to gain a ‘Reputation’ and to be recognised as one who has reached the top within ‘Career’. The need is to gain some degree of ‘Authority’ and to be beyond any point of criticism. The nature is to be persevering, with a dogged determination to reach the ‘Top’ and to be looked up to with respect from those in the lower ranks. One likes to be able to organise whatever goes on and to delegate to those one has faith in, that orders will be carried out. Capricorn insures a degree of careful consideration to any moves made, so there are no ‘Slip-Ups’, no failures which can have others pointing a critical finger. Capricorn is naturally careful over what it does, when it comes to working things out and for this reason the nature is to consider and ‘Test’ things over a period of ‘Time’.
When the Zodiac Sign of Capricorn covers the 9th. House then one will dislike the idea of being restricted, tied down to a classroom chair and for this reason one would not learn much at school and it’s often the case that more is learned out of school than in it. Again, one would possibly return to forms of learning later in the life, to take a degree of some kind, having learned to settle down and concentrate on what is needed for education. In a strange way, the nature of knowledge is what eventually will help one to become elevated in the eye of the public, one will learn that ‘Knowledge’ is ‘Power’ and so one will have others acknowledge this fact and look up to one who has something to teach them. In a way, it is when old age keeps the body still that the mind becomes more alert.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use the sense of ‘Perseverance’ and ‘Ambition’ to climb, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Capricorn is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Capricorn is the ‘Limiting’ and ‘Restrictive’ planet of Saturn and Saturn, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Virgo in the 5th. House.
The general effect of having Saturn domiciled in the 5th. House is to give a ‘Waning’ to the urge to put the ‘Self’ on centre-stage and in front of the ‘Spotlight’. And when Saturn is seated in Virgo in the 5th. House then it can be that one tends to keep work and play in separate compartments, that one is afraid of being seen as a person who spends their time just ‘Playing Around’. In a way, Mae West, whilst seemingly full of fun, took her work very seriously and much preferred to be the ‘Mistress’ when it came to working with others. She was not happy to have to share the ‘Limelight’, fearing another might steal the glory and so she would have been discerning as to whom she chose to work with.
This combination would have made Mae West very critical of the way others worked and she might not be able to tolerate mistakes. Again, she would have not been one to put her true feelings on display, simply because she would have felt it hypocritical to put on a false act, especially when she felt very little for those who did not try to act in a way natural to their talents. Such feelings, or lack of them, would not have endeared her to fellow actors, especially when she demanded special treatment. Psychologically, Saturn in the 5th. House can cause one to push harder, whether at work or play and to often reject anyone who tried to get near. This action, of rejecting, would come from unconscious feelings of being rejected by others if Mae West made advances and so she rejected others first as a ‘Safe-Guard’. However Mae West would act, this combination would give a certain coldness and aloofness to her nature, hidden by her need for the ‘Glamour’ of power.
THE TENTH HOUSE.
CAREER AND STATUS.
The 10th. House indicates an area within the life which deals with one’s sense of ambition and the urge to climb so that one is judged to have done well at the end of the line. This House gives an idea of how one deals with those in authority, with the sense of duty and the way one might organise the life. The aim is to gain recognition, to rise in the life so that one gains a reputation and status, whether good or bad. The 10th. House can give sense of what kind of career one might seek so that a reputation is realised. The nature is to accept the need for concentration and to start from the bottom, then to gradually work one’s way up the line of command. It signifies ‘Ambition’ and ‘Status’, the urge to be seen as having ‘Made It’ at the end of life. To be able to have others recognise one’s ‘Position’ in life.
The Zodiac Sign of Aquarius indicates an area of life whereby one thinks about and considers the ‘Future’. One seeks an ideal situation that suits one’s ‘Hopes’, ‘Aspirations’ and ‘Wishes’, what one might predict lies ahead. The nature is to find a cause to serve, to seek to make changes to the Social Scene so that ‘Outmoded’ ideas are ‘Updated’ and, in this way ‘Humanity’ gains the benefit. Aquarius is often found where there is social discord and rebellion, waging war for social justice and ‘Human Rights’. However, Aquarius is a ‘Sociable’ and ‘Affable’ nature, one which seeks the company of friends and finds comfort within associations which might stem from ‘Hobbies’ and gaining enjoyment through ‘Socialising’ outside of working hours, within group efforts. The need is to exchange ‘Ideas’ and cause changes through petitions and ‘Shared’ enthusiasm within the group.
When the Zodiac Sign of Aquarius covers the 10th. House then one might well find it hard to accept the idea of rules and regulations when it comes to work. The nature is to challenge those in authority if one considers the rules and regulations are outdated and are not considered to be ‘Sociable’. It can be the case that one will walk out of a ‘Career’, disliking the performance of ‘Duty’ and routine, preferring to seek something which seems not to conform to the normal field of work. One might seek to work within groups whom have ‘Humanitarian Aims’, to be of service for humanity as a whole, to aspire to change the rules so that all benefit. Should such work make one a ‘Rebel’ then so be it, although one is a ‘Rebel’ with a ‘Cause’.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use the urge to ‘Update’ and ‘Revolutionise’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Aquarius is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Aquarius is the ‘Eccentric’ and ‘Zany’ planet of Uranus and Uranus, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio in the 6th. House.
When Uranus is seated in the 6th. House then the nature is to rebel against the rules and ‘Times’ set out so that such actions can upset the ‘Collective’ workforce. Such rebellious friction can cause a break-up of solidarity within a union so that a ‘Strike’ occurs and the whole workforce might suddenly walk out of the workplace, demanding better and updated working conditions. In this way, it can be seen that Mae West would have been something of a rebellious element within a group, disruptive in the sense that she would have set herself different rules to the more conformed and established set, changed the rules and even broke the law within her working ‘Career’. She had to be different!
With the rebellious planet of Uranus in Scorpio in the 6th. House, Mae West would have certainly set about breaking the ‘Taboos’ of moral codes, bringing the new ideas of ‘Sexual Attitude’ into the workplace and upsetting the more staid of society. She would have broken the ‘Rules’ set down as far as what might be said or exhibited within one’s work, bringing the ‘Career’ into disrepute. But, as in most cases whereby rigid rules are broken, it sets the precedence for such activity to become the norm after a slow ‘Time’ of acceptance. Mae West would, within her career, expose the hypocrisy of those in authority and, whilst she was seen as a ‘Brazen Hussy’, she exploded the myth that all women were angels. She elevated ‘Sex’ in her sense of ‘Showoffism’, shocking those she worked for and those she worked with, with her open exhibitions. The principle of Uranus means to ‘Liberate’ and when Uranus sits in Scorpio then the idea is to expose and liberate society from the sexual taboos placed upon it by the authorities.
THE ELEVENTH HOUSE.
HOPES AND WISHES.
The 11th. House indicates an area within the life which deals with one’s ‘Hopes’ and ‘Wishes’ for the future, one’s expectations and what one ‘Aspires’ to in the life. It is what one might look forward to, although there has to be some forethought and planning, otherwise what is expected can be reversed and the unexpected will cause trouble. This Housing also indicates one’s ‘Social’ outlook, how one thinks about ‘Hobbies’ and socialising within groups. The 11th. House indicates whatever lies outside the area of the ‘Working Life’. There is a need for friendships and so life would relate to those friends who are involved with group efforts. The 11th. House also deals with ‘Ideals’ and what ‘Causes’ one might fight for, ‘Humanitarian’ causes which need ‘Up-Dating’ so that justice prevails and the ‘Ideal’ becomes the ‘Norm’.
The Zodiac Sign of Pisces indicates an area of the life whereby one would need to ‘Escape’ from the competitive ‘Rat-Race’, the heated atmosphere of authority which most of the ‘Human Race’ enjoys. The nature of Pisces is have an escape route into the land of ‘Dreams’, into areas whereby the imagination can become enlarged so that all things are easily available. It is the ‘Magic-Land’ of ‘Illumination’, the ‘Playground’ of Children. Pisces offers a safe haven, often as a ‘Spiritual Heaven’, where one might pray for some peace and quiet, to drift into a natural ‘Dreamland’. There can often be a confusion as to what is real, for the imagination can bring on illusions so that one might believe what is imagined and project an eccentricity of nature that is larger than life. Pisces is one of the most sensitive Zodiac Signs and highly ‘Impressionable’.
When the Zodiac Sign of Pisces covers the 11th. House then the indication is that one might dream about what lies in the future for them, to aspire to dream so that fancy can turn the head of one who seems so down to earth in one’s manner. Pisces covering the 11th. House can cause the Farmer to dream of becoming an intrepid explorer and, should this fancy become real within the mind then the Farmer might suddenly leave his farm, his home and family and go off into the wilderness, such is the impressive dreams of the Pisces nature. The nature can cause one to become distracted from the ‘Norm’ of life and wish to ‘Follow a Star’, seek the ‘Ideal’ life and live the dream. Pisces can give inspiration as well as confusion, so that one either swims up to the light or down into the mud of dreamy ‘Escapes’ from the harshness of the ‘Rat-Race’.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use the instinctive need for ‘Imitation’ and ‘Escape’, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Pisces is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Pisces is the ‘Transcending’ and ‘Imaginative’ planet of Neptune and Neptune, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Gemini in the 1st. House.
When the planet Neptune resides in the 1st. House it can have influence over the way one projects the self out into the public domain and, when Neptune is seated in Gemini in the 1st. House then one might well project the voice in such a way that it confuses those who hear it, the public audience. In this way, Mae West was famous for confusing the public with her ‘Double Entendres’ and ‘Innuendoes’. She would speak in a highly suggestive and sensual way, which meant that those who understood what she meant, and said so, could be accused of having a ‘Dirty Mind’. It is known that the nature of Gemini is to say one thing whilst meaning another, to often be contrary, so it is easy to see how Neptune causes this vocal ‘Mud’! The principle of Neptune is to ‘Transcend’, to be ‘Inspired’ and so Mae West would be inspired to ‘Transcend’ the obvious.
The influence of Neptune in Gemini is to embroider the facts, to give variations on a theme and so Mae West was able to speak words which gave visions of imagery which inspired the higher and sensual spirits within men. She was an ‘Inspired Story-Teller’, very visual and the simple lift of an eyebrow was expanded into a whole sexual story which could send a man into day-dreams of love. It has to be understood the combination of Neptune in Gemini was ‘Drifted’ from the 2nd. House of her Birth Chart and this gives the knowledge that Mae West used such visionary and suggestive language as a way of earning money and, therefore gaining financial security.
THE TWELFTH HOUSE.
DREAMS AND IMAGINATION.
The 12th. House is an area which indicates ‘Dreams’ and the sense of one’s ‘Imagination’, an area through which one might escape from the hardships of the harsh side of life. It signifies a greater sense of compassion and sympathy which can cause ‘Guilt Complexes’ and, through feelings of guilt, urge one to make ‘Sacrifices’, to give up one’s time and seek a higher cause to serve. In some respects, the 12th. House can confuse the energy of what one believes. Should one have experienced a hard earlier life then one can believe in ‘Bad Luck’ and superstitions, ‘Bogeymen’ and the like. In a way, the 12th. House can be a confusion of ‘Early Memories’ which cause an enlarged imagination which brings fear and the need to run away from life. One is alive to the nature of ‘Impressions’.
The Zodiac Sign of Aries indicates an area of the life which represents the ‘Self’ and the ‘Me First’ attitude. It shows how one will use assertion to get what is wanted through aggressive moves. The nature is to go straight to the point of what is wanted. The tendency is to be head-strong and willful and no sooner has one set one's sight on what is wanted than one sets about attaining whatever it is. The Aries Rising Sign does not think about the consequences of any action, the speed of action is automatic and without consideration and so, for this reason those with Aries prominent in their Birth Chart might well be accident-prone, rushing ahead so that the ‘Headlong’ rush means that the head is the part that meets in a collision with whatever gets in the way. ‘Immediate Action’ is the order of the day with Aries!
When the Zodiac Sign of Aries covers the 12th. House then what one ‘Dreams’ about, one’s ideas of ‘Escaping’ from the competitive ‘Rat-Race’ are basically selfish. It is the sense that ‘Charity’ begins at ‘Home’, it is the essence of ‘My Dreams’, ‘My Adventures’ and how ‘I’ escape. It implies that one will tend to spend a lot of energy into pursuing dreams, determined to make dreams come true so that they give success and an easy life. It’s often the case that the energy disperses quite quickly with this combination and so one is forever seeking new outlets for a powerful imagination. It can be hard to face reality when Mars is domiciled in the 12th. House, although, once one knows how to handle such illusive ‘Magic’ then one can have the power of ‘Manipulation’ over those with less strength of ‘Will-Power’.
To gain deeper insight into how and where Mae West would use this instinctive ‘Aggressive’ action, the need is to discover exactly where the Ruling planet of Aries is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign in the Birth Chart and in what area of the life the Ruling planet extends into, what House the Ruling planet is resident. It is known that the Ruling planet of Aries is the ‘Activating’ and ‘Forceful’ planet of Mars and Mars, in Mae West’s Birth Chart, is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Aquarius in the 9th. House.
One can be sure that Mae West suddenly realised at an early age that sex was a strong exhilarant, the power which had men quickly dreaming and, with Mars in Aquarius, she gained the ‘Knowledge’ that the way to contain a man’s power was to ‘Shock’ him into submission through the powers of ‘Suggestion’ and ‘Illusions’ of sexual mastery. Mars in Aquarius indicates a nature of wanting to set the world alight, it can be the mark of an ‘Arsonist’, one who wants to ‘Blaze’ a trail and scorch the earth of rationality. Mars in Aquarius is to mentally ‘Combust’ the world and when this combination is seated in the 9th. House then Mae West would ‘Set Light’ to a new ‘Knowledge’ and create mayhem. She would ‘Burn’ the old rules and put an electric light to the new order of ‘Sexual Behaviour’, light up a ‘High-Spirited’ drama in the lives of the ‘Dull’.
The Zodiac Sign of Aquarius is an area proposed to ‘Futuristic Ideas’, to ‘Update’ conservatism through inspired ideas and inventions, to bring to light the idea of a ‘Washing Machine’ which did away with the old ‘Scrubbing Brush and Washtub’. And in the same principle, Mae West ‘Invented’ ideal ‘Dreams’ which invigorated the hearts of man. She ‘Revolutionised’ the way people accepted sex as party of living. Mae West loved to use ‘Shock-Tactics’ which created reactions from those conditioned to accept the moral rules set down. She offered the ‘Dream’ of sex through suggestions, through her words… ‘Come up and see me sometime’, followed by a suggestive wink. Even those words sparked off a fiery report from the elite of society. Eventually, even the ‘Upper Classes’ began to accept the bawdiness, joining in with the laughter of the ‘Lower’ and more vulgar classes.

John was brought up by his mother’s sister, his ‘Auntie Mimi’, in middle-class Liverpool, doing quite well at school, and showing a considerable interest in music, inspired by artists such as Elvis Presley and Little Richard. John Lennon kept in contact with his mother, who brought him his first Guitar and also taught him to play the Banjo and Piano. He eventually attended the Liverpool College of Art, and, after being traumatised by the untimely death of his mother, he formed a close friendship with Paul McCartney. He met his first wife, Cynthia, at the College, and after becoming disruptive and failing his exams, he eventually dropped out of the College, with no qualifications. John Lennon started the ‘Skiffle’ group the ‘Quarrymen’, writing songs, eventually teaming up with Paul McCartney and George Harrison and Stuart Sutcliffe, using various names for the band, eventually becoming ‘The Beatles’.
As their ‘Manager’, Allan Williams promoted the Beatles in Hamburg, but it was the early 1960’s before the band became famous, with Ringo Starr on the drums. Stuart Sutcliffe died in 1962. The Lennon/McCartney partnership produced songs such as ‘Love Me Do’, ‘From Me to You’, and many others.
The group gradually went to pieces after the death of their manager, Brian Epstein in 1967, and John Lennon left the group in 1969. John Lennon had a son, Julian, with his first wife Cynthia, later divorcing her and marrying ‘Yoko Ono’, eventually having a son, Sean, with her. This period of his life was quite erratic, with his interest in ‘Left-Wing Politics and ‘Revolutionary’ groups being foremost. John Lennon produced the album ‘Imagine’, in 1971, which became an album for ‘Anti-Religion’ and ‘Anti-War’ movements. He made his last ‘Musical’ appearance in 1975, although he wrote an impressive amount of material in 1980.
Although loved for his music, John Lennon was also known for his wit and bizarre behaviour, and his constant battle to stay in the United States.
John Lennon was shot dead in New York City, outside his apartment, on December 8th 1980.
THE FIRST HOUSE... (ARIES RISING SIGN.)
SELF-PROJECTION.
Self-Projection means, the way one projects themselves out into the public eye, how others see them, though not necessarily how they really are. The 1st. House indicates how one goes through life, the basic energy to secure what is needed as an instinctive self-projective measure, either within an aggressive or defensive mode. Those who have the Aries Rising Sign really project the 'Self' as one who goes straight to the point of what is wanted. There is a tendency to be head-strong and wilful, no sooner has one set one's sight on what is wanted than one sets about attaining whatever it is. The Aries Rising Sign does not think about the consequences of any action, the speed of action is automatic and without consideration and so, for this reason the Aries Rising Sign person might well be accident-prone, rushing ahead so that one's head being the part that meets with collision.
One likes to be first in line and does not have time to wait for others. However, there are times when, if captured in some way and forced to slow down and wait, then the fiery attitude can become somewhat aggressive, though this action is not long-lasting and the fire burns out quickly. One dislikes being held back and likes to show a free spirit to the world. To the Aries Rising Sign the world is forever a brave new world and one wants to be the first to take what is there to take. It’s a case that one might never have the time or patience to wait for others to catch up, the Aries Rising Sign likes to be upfront and always in the lead, chasing new adventures with the spirit of a child. Although this might seem selfish to some, The Aries Rising Sign does not mean to be abrupt or rude, one simply lives in a world where it’s ‘First Come-First Served’... And this means one does not mean to be late or last in the queue!
The Zodiac Sign of Aries indicates the nature of 'Me First', it is the nature of the child who wants what is sees. And when the Zodiac Sign of Aries is seated in the 1st. House then one projects the self as 'Self-Assured' and confident, a leader, one who is forever seeking new forms of adventure, to see and conquer new worlds.
This does not mean that those with an Aries Rising Sign are mercenary or greedy. It's often the case that they will, having gained what it is they wanted, give the 'Spoils' away to those who follow, the 'Camp-Followers'. In this way, it is explained that the 'Winning' is the important thing, the medals and gold cups are disposable materials which hold no further interest. What you have just read is the basic traits in the Aries Rising Sign. But what is explained now is a fuller interpretation of John Lennon's psychological 'Inner-Sense' as to how he, as an Aries Rising Sign, had projected himself out into the world.
To gain this insight one has to discover the exact location of the Ruling planet of Aries, to discover under what Zodiac Sign the Ruling planet is domiciled and in what Housing. The Ruling planet of Aries is the activating and aggressive planet of Mars and it is seen, in John Lennon's Birth Chart, that the planet of Mars is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Libra, in the 6th. House.
When the planet Mars 'Extends' from its 'Parent' Aries into the Zodiac Sign of Libra then the energy is to have a strong sense of 'Fair-Play' and what is 'Just' and right. For this reason, John Lennon would act quickly to fight for the 'Underdog', to take up the cause of those whom are abused in any way, he waves the sword of justice, even though the actions can be impetuous if the feelings become involved. It can be a question of act first and ask questions later. In this way, John Lennon might strike while the iron is hot then ask others if they thought he was right! At such times he would need assurance from others that he had not taken the law into his own hands. In many respects, there is a strong sense of vanity within the make-up, that John Lennon would, at times, force his thinking and strength of 'Will' on others, seeing himself as the 'Leader of the Opposition'.
The 6th. House indicates areas of 'Co-Operation', how one works with fellow co-workers and, with the planet Mars seated in the 6th. House there would always be a form of 'Power-Struggle' and differences of opinion as to what would work in the best and fairest interests of the work-force. Again, such moves would often come from forms of 'Self-Interest', in that whilst it would seem that John Lennon fought for the best interest of those he worked among, his aggressive actions would be decisive as to whom of the workforce would 'Follow' his ideas about who was the 'Boss'.
Psychologically, with this combination of Mars in Libra in the 6th. House of his Birth Chart, John Lennon would challenge the working rights of the 'Workers', seeing himself as one who will stand up for those whom could not defend themselves. He saw himself as a leader of the subjugated, a 'Freedom-Fighter', fighting for 'Fair-play'. Others might see him as one whom interfered with the laws of the land, a politician whom lacked the delicacy of diplomacy and tact!

The implication is that the 2nd. House indicates an area of what is needed, what one needs to possess in life as a practical building block so that you feel secure. With the Zodiac Sign of Taurus covering the 2nd. House one will be determined to acquire the best of things, the best money can buy. It is not greed but a sense of what can be of value which is the attractive quality. So one will save up for the things one wants, understanding the value of possessions. When it comes to acquisition of personal possessions, one is never rushed. One builds up with patience, being practical and down-to-earth with negotiations. One is businesslike and knows a bargain when one is seen. One likes to understand that, whatever is bought will rise in value over a time. For this reason, property and items of good taste will always be of interest. One does not dream about ownership, one puts in a practical application to purchase whatever gives one a sense of Financial Security.
With the combination of Taurus covering the 2nd. House, one might well enjoy gardening, to take time in 'Growing' things and cultivating what gives a sense of 'Rooted Stability'. Again, one might well have a liking for the finer things in life when it comes to food and wine. But first comes the idea of property and those things which give a sense of security. If one looks in junk-shops, then one might look for antiques. In all this, one understands the art of a patient build-up and will wait for as long as it takes to get what is wanted. When it comes to finance the understanding is that those with capital ‘Back-Up’ are the ones who can afford to feel financially secure, and this is all about ‘Financial Security. It’s not that there is a dislike for art, one has ‘Good Taste’, it’s just that one needs to know that what is bought will yield a dividend and not just be a ‘Pretty Picture’. One with this combination will want the artwork ‘Undersigned’ as a mark of one's 'Approval', of the artwork being 'Gold-Edged'!
To gain a deeper understanding of how John Lennon would use his sense of Financial Security there is a need to seek out the Ruling planet of Taurus, to find exactly where the Ruling planet of Taurus is situated, under what Zodiac Sign the Ruling planet is domiciled and in what Housing.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Taurus is the 'Practical' and 'Material' planet of Venus and it is seen from John Lennon's Birth Chart that the planet Venus is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Virgo, in the 5th. House.
The 5th. House indicates the area of 'Instinctive Creativity', the sense of spontaneous activity which ensures creative effort. It is an area of 'Fun and Games' where one might enjoy the 'Fun' in life and seek leisure activities. The 5th. House can create a sense of 'Pride' in what one has 'Created', like the child who spontaneously creates a drawing and shows off its creation in a proud way, seeking applause. Whatever is created, whether it be a 'Love Affair' or the 'Child' created through a love-affair, one will exhibit a grand sense of pride of what is achieved.
It is seen, in John Lennon's Birth Chart that he has the planet Venus seated in the 5th. House of Virgo. In this way it can be stated that whilst John Lennon would have a strong creative and artistic sense and value whatever he created, he would not be one to run around like a child, showing off his creations, expecting applause.
When the planet Venus is seated in Virgo then the heat of expectancy is rather cool and John Lennon would have been very discerning and 'Self-Critical' of whatever he created. He would not show an over-enthusiasm, being rather analytical about what he saw, seeing the imperfections and pointing them out. In a way, John Lennon would have been his own worst 'Art-Critic' and this would have been his outlook when observing the work of others, he would have evaluated them as to what the work was worth. Whatever John Lennon created, be it his child, a love-affair or any work of created art, he would have appraised whatever came with a cool sense of acceptance. While he would have admired the quality and order of what he saw, he would not have allowed his feelings to be seen as excited, in many respects he kept a tight control on his feelings, which often made him appear 'Offish' to the spectator. With Venus in Virgo in the 5th. House of his Birth Chart, John Lennon would not have appreciated those who showed off their wealth, those who discriminated against the poor and this is what gave him cause to make caustic remarks to the 'Haves' of this world, those with a love of 'Pretension'! John Lennon would not have spent money unnecessarily, disliking to be pointed out and criticised as being a 'Show-Off'!
***************************************************************************************
THE THIRD HOUSE.
COMMUNICATIVE SPIRIT.
The 3rd. House deals with the 'Spirit' of communication and this implies the way in which one thinks, one’s method of logic, expressed through mediums of speech and writing. It is how one communicates within the local environment and the way information is gained and communicated to others. This is an area of everyday conversation, what one might talk about and whom to. The sense of communication is light-hearted and conducted in a spirited way.
With the Zodiac Sign of Gemini, one likes to communicate ideas quickly and with variation. One is not into long and drawn-out speeches, much preferring quick visits to exchange items of gossip and then away, to relay information and gain more insight into what is going on in the local vicinity. One can always pick up a phone and have a chat with a brother or sister, whilst doing a 'Cross-Word' puzzle and watching the television soaps. One is capable of multitasking, expressing through gesticulation with the hands and keeping busy…‘A busy mind is a healthy body’ is how you think. It's often a case that the mind and hands have to be kept busy and for this reason, one with the Zodiac Sign of Gemini will smoke a cigarette, simply to have the hands occupied.
There are times when one can be contrary and quick-witted, using the mind to get in and out of situations by saying one thing one day, then 'Mind-Changing' the next day, ever caught in two minds and being ambiguous with meanings. But the tendency is to be mischievous and enjoy a joke. One is always clever and often flippant, though never with an intention of harm and can always escape from punishment by turning the whole thing over as a joke, escaping with a quick explanation.
With Gemini's speed of mind, one is no great traveller. Of course, one will travel but will prefer visits within the local community or visiting places of quick interest and keeping in touch with siblings. Like the Gemini 'Mind', when it comes to travel, one dislikes being tied down to boring routine. It can be that a week-end trip will suit, with postcards sent back and things to talk about when one meet up with old friends.
With the Zodiac Sign of Gemini covering the 3rd. House, the need is to seek out exactly where the Ruling planet of Gemini is seated because, wherever the Ruling planet of Gemini is seated will give insight into how John Lennon would use the 'Extension' of his 'Mind', how he would tend to communicate to others.
The Ruling planet of Gemini is the mercurial and loquacious planet of Mercury and Mercury is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio, in the 7th. House of John Lennon's Birth Chart. This Housing, of Mercury in the 7th. House of Scorpio, gives psychological insight into John Lennon's 'Communicative Spirit'.
The planet Mercury indicates one's 'Mentality', one's thought process and the way the unconscious mind is assessed, so that thoughts promote communication. And when Mercury is seated in the 7th. House then the energy of communication is relative and that one will seek another whom can impart forms of conversation which appeals and has a similar appreciation of what is 'Liked'. In all, one with this combination of mercury in the 7th. House will 'Seek' another whom can join in a partnership that is rather like a 'Marriage of Minds'. One seeks another whom might give 'Answers' to questions which help one gain sense of how one should act. In a way, John Lennon would seek an 'Advisor' as to his actions and his speech. There would be a relative benefit from the 'Two Minds' thinking alike, so that John Lennon is open to advice from another who understands exactly where he is coming from and how his mind works.
Whilst this seems good and that communication works well, the fact is that when the planet Mercury is domiciled in the powerful Zodiac Sign of Scorpio then it is understood that the mind of John Lennon is extremely perceptive and bluntly sharp, often making caustic remarks and not open to those who try to pacify him with flattering remarks. He would not trust easily or tend to talk freely to the public. John Lennon would tend to keep his secrets to himself, his mind often flirting with thoughts of sexuality and the need to explore sexual activity. With Mercury in Scorpio in the 7th. House of Relationships, John Lennon would relate to those of the opposite sex with one thought in mind.
The Zodiac Sign of Scorpio indicates an area whereby there is a need to 'Transform' energy, through a sense of 'Sharing' with another, so that whatever latent source of 'Power' is 'Psychologically' risen, that at some time in the life the power comes to light, it evolves a higher 'Spirit'.
In this way, with Mercury in Scorpio in the 7th. House, when John Lennon met his mindful 'Soul-Mate', one who understood him completely, then fused their 'Mental Strength' with his, then the 'Power-Force' would be ignited.
This happened when he met Yoko Ono and his whole 'Mental Outlook' changed. he became reclusive and spent much time in the 'Sexual-Bed' of discovery. He went under a 'transformation' within a 'relative' sharing of minds!

THE FOURTH HOUSE.
EMOTIONAL SECURITY.
Emotional Security is all about how one feels, one’s sense of atmosphere and how one ‘Feels’ about the past. In many respects, the way one lived in the past reflects on how one deals with what is presented in the present. If one had a good early home-life, the past being kind, this would be reflected in the way one reacts to present situations, and vice-versa. Emotional Security is all about atmospheres and one's reactions to them.
One with the Zodiac Sign of Cancer covering the 4th. House would be well aware of reflected feelings and how one would use such 'Memory-Sense' to sense what one feels about the atmospheres of different places. There can be times when one might feel physically sick, when entering an atmosphere which is not right, that the smell or feelings remind you of a bad time in the past, so that one walks quickly away, to return to one's own home where it feels so much more secure and safer. One with Cancer covering the 4th. House relates strongly to the past and can always have photos and other memorabilia which give a fine sense of history.
One is a collector of things which represent the past, arranging them in order so they remain like well-behaved children. One can always manage, whatever happens in life and the main action is to feel that one can always manage to put a roof over the head and to feed the family. One is not into change, liking things the way they are, traditional, what one is comfortable with. Having things and members of the family around always allows the comfort of well-settled emotions. One is at 'Home' when at home. It's a case that the home is one's emotional 'Castle', where the pressure is off and one can relax. Outside the door, in the open, one would feel vulnerable and open to attacks of the kinds you are not used to. This is a psychological representation and indicates that one with the Zodiac Sign of Cancer covering the 4th. House will tend to relate strongly to one's early childhood conditioning, reacting to unconscious urges produced by 'Memory-Forces'. In this way, however one is treated in the past will reflect on the natural behaviour, becoming 'Habitual'.
To gain sense of how John Lennon naturally acts, how the 'Unconscious-Feelings' from his early childhood conditioning cause him to 'Habitually' act as far as his feelings go, there is a need to examine the placing of the Ruler of the Zodiac Sign of Cancer, to seek out exactly where the Ruler of Cancer is seated, under what Zodiac Sign the Ruler is domiciled and in what Housing.
The Ruler of Cancer is the Moon and it is seen in John Lennon's Birth Chart that the Moon is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Aquarius in the 10th. House.
The Moon in a Birth Chart indicates what one 'Feels' at 'Home' in and when the Moon is seated up in the 10th. House then one will feel at 'Home' and 'Secure' when one gains a sense of 'Public Acclaim', to work within the gaze of the public. There is always an instinct for what the public wants. However, when the Moon is in the 10th. House one will worry about being judged even though Moon in the 10th. House helps to over-ride emotions, to work without any sentiments spoiling the performance. There is a need for public approbation and feeling secure when the mind is kept busy.
When the Moon is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Aquarius, in the 10th. House then, psychologically, John Lennon would feel more comfortable working within a group setting and fearful of 'Going it alone' fearful of what the future represents. This sense of 'Fear' stems from his past, the sense of not bonding to the 'Mother', the Home-Base' and, in this way, John Lennon would never feel settled, whatever he did or wherever he went. Psychologically, his 'Roots' were not planted deep in the earth and so this would cause him to suddenly react to situations in a 'Moody' way because he would suffer from 'Mood Swings', his emotions never allowed to give him a feeling of 'Being at Home'. In this way, John Lennon would find that, while busy working he did not have to worry about anything. But, even within work and his public 'Face', his sudden outbursts and moods would cause the public to become concerned by his actions. His sense of 'Emotional Insecurity' would give a sense of reflected 'Inferiority Complex', so that the more he put his 'Show' on the 'Public Road' the more he needed to break away, for his peace of mind and to lock himself away, to become reclusive so that his home became a 'Castle', impregnable to attack from outside forces, from the 'Public Reporters' who would open up his 'Past'.
In many ways, the fact that John Lennon had Moon in Aquarius in the 10th. House would never allow him to find peace within himself, to be allowed to 'Settle Down', to live a life without feelings of frustrated moodiness. There would have been times of 'Moods', when he was in the mood to be compliant with the 'Public' and then there were times when he would not be in the mood to join in with the 'Social Scene' and it was at those times when he would lash out at the world and 'Fall from Grace'.
****************************************************************************************
THE FIFTH HOUSE.
NATURAL CREATIVITY.
The 5th. House in one's Birth Chart indicates an area where one expresses a sense of 'Natural Creativity'. It implies where one has natural flair and the need to show-off what comes naturally. The sense of creativity can come through spontaneous ideas, as it can come from taking a chance on romance. A gamble and sense of fun comes under the influence of natural creativeness, as does poetry and other artistic forms. The sense is to be proud of what one creates, as a Mother is proud of the 'Child' she has created. When the Zodiac Sign of Leo covers the 5th. House then one understands the enjoyment of life and likes to generate warmth, to play the field with a big heart and always ready to act out any melodramatic scene and playing the leading part, one enjoys taking 'Centre-Stage'. When it comes to the 'Sun-Shine', one can be the first to laze out in the heat, to put one's feet up, especially if another is there to serve cooling drinks and to make a banquet fit for a King or Queen.
In respects, one with Leo covering the 5th. House will tend to act in a `'Royal' way and like others to know one's position in life. One is quite prepared to do favours for others, just as long as others show appreciation, even screaming adulation if possible and one does not mind taking a bow when the roses are thrown on the stage. When it comes to romance, then one might act like a child and when it comes to a gamble, one will be proud to risk all that is in the 'Treasure-Trove'!
One who has Leo covering the 5th. House can always have have a special link to children and can bond quickly, although this can imply that one might also act like a child at times and enjoy spontaneous 'Childish Games'. But when it comes to organisation, one will organise others as if they are youngsters themselves, so they fit into the scheme of things. One has a natural creative flair for enjoying the 'Self'' and taking others along for the ride, those whom one cares to choose as one's friends and grant friendship as a 'Royal' priviledge.
Here again, one with this combination of Leo covering the 5th. House can be very creative and will take great pride in what is created. Usually there is a flair for design and hair-styling, which comes with a strong sense of romanticism. There are those times when one will gamble and take chances, when one steps out onto the stage, into the 'Spotlight', to face an applauding audience. One enjoys applause and sometimes thinks that one does not get all the applause one deserves. This comes from the desire to be the best, to have the world applaud the sense of 'Drama' that is created when one takes the 'Centre-Stage'.
To gain a deeper insight into what area of life John Lennon would express the sense of drama, where in his life he would 'Show Off' in a dramatic way, one has to discover the Ruling planet of Leo, because wherever the Ruling planet of Leo is seated is where John Lennon's tendency to take 'Centre-Stage' will come to 'Light'.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Leo is the Sun and the Sun in John Lennon's Birth Chart is seated in Libra, in the 6th. House.
The 6th. House indicates an area which shows how one will 'Co-Operate with 'Fellow-Workers'. It gives a sense of one's practical skills and how one will adapt to rules and regulations, keeping to 'Time' and what working conditions would suit. It gives reference to the lifestyle and health issues, the balance between body and mind. When the Zodiac Sign of Libra covers the 6th. House then one will be aware of the 'Fairness' within the working practice, that all are given a fair 'Crack of the Whip'. One will relate easily to those whom one sees as 'Fellow-Beings' and will take the side of those who are treated unjustly. When Sun is in Libra then one will look to the policies of diplomacy and tact, to have a degree of 'Political' spirit. However, Libra can often undergo periods of stress when covering the 6th. House, simply because the need is to keep a fine balance between the 'Workforce' and 'Management', to act as a mediator and, with this tendency to be 'On Hand' all the time. In this way the 'Work' can become tiring so that one is liable to need to take time off, to rest and 'Re-Charge' the batteries, to be ready to 'Sort things Out' once again. When one has the Sun in Libra in the 6th. House then one will tend to take charge, to put the self in the 'Spotlight' of whatever is seen as 'Unfair'. With Sun in Libra, one has a strong 'Social Sense' and a stronger sense of 'Justice', to seek 'Peace and Harmony' within the ranks of the 'Working Class'. In this way, John Lennon would have this flair for the dramatics, standing up on stage and calling for those in power to be less authoritive and to 'Give Peace a Chance', the words from one of his songs!
John Lennon was a pain in the neck for those who wanted war and it was those he fought against, those he created havoc for and, because he had the ear of the 'Working Classes' whom he could muster through his sense of 'Enthusiasm' and as a 'Leading Light', those in authority were afraid of his outbursts. There were times when his ideas of what was 'Justified' would weigh too heavily on his mind and at such times he would become 'Melodramatic' and stand alone on the stage, creating a scene whereby he was seen as a 'Public Nuisance' by those in authority, those whom sat in the the front row of the audience and criticised his 'Act'. But , to John Lennon, his 'Show' was only 'Fair' and 'Just'!
************************************************************************************************
When the Zodiac Sign of Virgo covers the 6th. House then there is always a desire to make things work perfectly. Perfection is the ‘Keyword’ when Virgo covers this House and so one might work and rehearse until one is sure that whatever is worked on runs like a well-oiled machine. The nature is to be often fussy and discerning, feeling that things are never right and so one might continue till the trial leaves one a nervous wreck.
Again, one can be fussy about whom one chooses to work with and will not tolerate those who show a slightest habit which can affect the outcome of a job. The idea is to get the job done without outside interference and to value the work through close inspection. Others might find another, who has Virgo covering the 6th. House, as being too finicky and ‘Nit-Picking’, one whom will interfere if the work is just not quite right.
The mind can often work through a sense of ‘Nervous’ reliance and energy, being aware that what is performed on will be observed by others and put under a ‘Critical Microscope’, so that any cracks or discrepancies are immediately spotted, the flaws discovered and pointed out. In this way, one with Virgo covering the 6th. House can become one’s own worst critic, ‘Self-Critical’ to the degree that it has an effect on the nerves as to make one react in a sharp way to those who try to observe what one works at. To gain a real sense of how John Lennon ‘Works’ his sense of routine and nervous energy, the way he works with ‘Fellow Co-Workers’ and how he follows the routine of ‘Hours’, the need is to seek out the Ruling planet of Virgo. The discovery of the Ruling planet of Virgo, its placing within John Lennon’s Birth Chart, will give understanding of his ‘Inner-Mind’, his nervous state of play when working with others. It is known that the Ruling planet of Virgo is the practical and ‘Earthy’ planet of Mercury and that this Ruling planet is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio in the 7th. House of John Lennon’s Birth Chart.
The 7th. House in one Birth Chart indicates the area whereby one ‘Relates’ to another, what one seeks in another which would give energy to what one feels is lacking in one’s nature. It indicates the ‘Answer’ to reasons which need to be explained. And when the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio covers the 7th. House in this way then John Lennon would only relate to another he felt he could trust, one he could ‘Share’ his secrets with. But, when Mercury is placed in Scorpio, then the mind is really a closed trap, in that John Lennon was ‘Secretive’ in what he thought and would not be drawn into making remarks unless another upset him, then all ‘Hell’ would break loose. He would then become caustic and aggressive, breaking and destroying what was being worked on as a sense of spite.
And it would be in this way that John Lennon would have ‘Worked’ when put among his ‘Fellow-Workers’. He would have been very determined to ‘Work’ things out, to keep working at all times, so that things were perfect, even if the effort nearly ‘Killed’ him. He was not one to be ‘Interfered with’, have others tell him how to make things work. For this reason he worked alone and often in secret, away from the dull and boring routines, suiting himself as to what ‘Times’ he worked.
He would never have been happy with an effort unless it had been practically ‘Destroyed’, taken to pieces and ‘Transformed’, till it sounded and looked ‘Perfect’ to the way he imagined it would be. In some ways, John Lennon was intensely ‘Self-Critical’ and this ‘Psychological Intensity’ would cause him to set about secretly ‘Undermining’ those who were successful, often causing him to ‘Pick Holes’ in the work of those whom, he felt, worked against him. It might be said that John Lennon suffered from a form of ‘Autocratism’, that he felt his work was ‘Perfect’ his word was ‘Law’ and that those whom were jealous of his work were those whom set about ‘Undermining’ him in return.
In all, John Lennon would have been very hard to work with and only those who might relate to his work as being perfect, to understand his reasoning and ‘Mental Ability’ would be allowed to enter his ‘Work-Place’, to see him ‘Secretly’ perform his miracles!
*********************************************************************************************
Whilst the word ‘Love’ is used, the idea of ‘Relationships’ is more to the point in that the 7th. House indicates what is ‘Related’ to. This can include Friendships and whatever draws one who might need a part of the self which is lacking. In this way one might need to relate to another who can give assurance or communicate so that one is given advice. The 7th. House can explain the sense of a ‘Magnetic’ quality, what attracts another so that a relationship is formed. When the Zodiac Sign of Libra covers the 7th. House then one is attracted to those whom are able to display a sociable and charming side to their nature. The nature of Libra is to be charming and tactful, often those with Libra qualities are the ‘Diplomats’ of the Zodiac, though they can be notorious for ‘Sitting on the Fence’ when it comes to taking sides. 7th. House Libra needs to be ‘Liked’ and for this reason will not want to hurt others, simply because those they hurt will not like them in return. Libra enjoys the ‘Social Scene’, to go from party to party, socialising with the ‘In Crowd’.
To gain a deeper insight into how and what John Lennon would be attracted to, what would draw him towards those he could ‘Relate’ to, there is a need to seek out the Ruling planet of Libra, to find out where the Ruling planet is seated, under what Zodiac Sign and in what Housing.
The Ruling planet of Libra is the balanced and sociable planet of Venus and it is seen that the planet of Venus is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Virgo in the 5th. House. The 5th. House indicates an area of the life which deals with one’s sense of ‘Fun’. It shows where one will spontaneously display one’s sense of ‘Creativity’, how one will ‘Show Off’ what ‘Flair and Style’ one has which gives a sense of pride. The 5th. House indicates one’s ‘Creative Instincts’. However, when the Zodiac Sign of Virgo covers the 5th. House then one can take life rather seriously and be very discerning when it comes to choosing whom one ‘Relates’ to and what relatively attracts the sense of fun.
John Lennon might not be into ‘Childish Games’ seeing them as ‘Showing Off’ and allowing others to point accusing fingers. Venus in Virgo can keep the feelings somewhat restricted and cool to the idea of ‘Role-Playing’. In a way this combination would have had John Lennon standing back from joining in with those whom liked a more sociable approach to life. He would have been more attracted to the scene of controlled ‘Order’, so that he was not criticised for ‘Acting Up’. He was not into open displays or being ‘Up-Front’, although, with Venus in the 5th. House, John Lennon would have been more attracted towards whatever gave a sense of ‘Creative Style’, to be creative and have a ‘Flair’ for 'Design-Work'. In this way, John Lennon would have been more attracted to the sense of spending his time in production, rather than socialising and enjoying the ‘Party Scene’. His idea of ‘Fun’ would have been to create a new design or put the finishing touches to a latest fashion. He would have been critical of ‘Time-Wasters’ and those who frittered their life away. In all, John Lennon was not what one might call a ‘Party-Animal’, never attracted to frivolity but more into testing the ‘Market’ and putting his time into areas which ‘Worked’ for him and to create what others might find a sense of ‘Creative Beauty’ within. He would have been drawn more to those who showed creative flair and spent time within more serious pursuits, fussy and discriminating as to how others used their ‘Minds’, towards an industrious pleasure which drew applause for their efforts.
**************************************************************************************
THE EIGHTH HOUSE.
SHARED RESOURCES.
The 8th. House within one’s Birth Chart is quite difficult to understand in that it represents one’s ‘Unconscious’ urge to seek out another whom can compliment the pairing in some way. It often represents a sense of ‘Sharing’, to find another whom will ‘Share’ what they have so that what is shared can produce a harvest that gives a ‘Richness’ to the spirit. It can be best explained as two people ‘Sharing’ a deep relationship so that their physical love produces a ‘Child’ which is then the ‘Bonding’ between both people. The 8th. House has the energy of ‘Transformation’ in that one will seek another or something which, once forming an association, will transform the nature so that what one was used to is ‘Ended’ and a ‘New Beginning’ starts. The 8th. House represents death and rebirth, the transformation of one thing into another through the sense of sharing a concentrated source of ‘Power’. In many respects, the action is for the owner of the Birth Chart to surrender the ‘Self’ to the power of another, so that one draws into the self the ‘Spirit’ of Change’.
The Zodiac Sign of Scorpio denotes the sense of ‘Unconscious Urges’ which psychologically causes one to react to whatever presents itself as a form of ‘Challenge’, so that one feels the urge to accept of deny the challenge according to how the depths of Scorpio ‘Feelings’ are represented within the Birth Chart. The primal need is for one to ‘Rise Above’ the primitive emotions of ‘Jealousy’ and ideas of ‘Revenge’, the desire to get ‘Rid Off’ what undermines the nature by becoming destructive. The need is to be able to ‘Over-Ride’ such basic energies and able to concentrate one’s ‘Inner-Power’, able to be constructive and change whatever restricts the nature from moving forward and evolving.
It is seen that, in John Lennon’s Birth Chart, he has the Zodiac Sign of Scorpio covering his 8th. House and, to be able to discern just how John Lennon would use the ‘Inner-Drive’ to make changes within the life, to be ‘Transformed’, the need is to seek out the Ruling planet of Scorpio, to find exactly where the Ruling planet of Scorpio is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign and in what Housing.
The Ruling planet of Scorpio is the planet Pluto, known as the ‘Power-Point’, the ‘Trigger’ which turns on the power of ‘Transformation. Pluto indicates the way one has to face up to fundamental changes within the nature. It can bring forces of compulsions and obsessions to the surface should the nature not be able to affect the changes needed so that transformation can take place.
It is seen in John Lennon’s Birth Chart that the planet Pluto is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Leo in the 4th. House.
The energy of Pluto, when seated in Leo is to become obsessed with the urge to transform the self in some way so that one is in charge of one’s own destiny. The compulsive need is to discover the key which will unlock the ‘Hidden Secrets’ which hold the nature back from evolving, able to move on and become strong and ‘Self-Contained’. When Pluto is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Leo then the ‘Sight’ is determined and intensely fixed, psychologically never giving up on the search to find another or whatever is needed that holds the key to one’s ‘Fate’. In other words, this combination can be seen as ‘Having a Bee in one’s Bonnet’!
When the combination of Pluto in Leo is sited to the 4th. House then John Lennon would have been obsessed with finding out the ‘Truth’ about his past, to determine to discover exactly where he ‘Came’ from. To understand his ‘Past’ so that he might evolve, to ‘End’ the impulsion to be jealous of those whom were secure and settled through a secure earlier childhood, those whom had the love and bonding from a ‘Maternal’ figure, John Lennon needed to ‘Uncover’ the reasons why he was abandoned when a baby, to gain sense of whom and what his Mother was. Once he met his Mother, he would be able to ‘End’ his childhood misery of ‘Not Knowing’ and transform his nature so that he knew where he stemmed from and, with that intelligence able to change, to understand that he was not alone and that he had a ‘Past’. Once he had met his Mother and learned about his ‘Birth’ from her, the ‘Skeletons in the Family Closet’, then he was able to ‘Kill Off’ the Spectre of his past and become ‘Re-birthed’, able to lose the emotions of spite and jealousy and become secure within himself. By ‘Sharing’ his birth and past with his Mother, he was able to transform his nature, which ‘Opened Up’ his creative abilities. He was able to find ‘Peace’ within himself and create a new sense of ‘Sharing’, knowing what love was, that he was not a child anymore, one who needed a ‘Mummy-Figure’!
************************************************
THE NINTH HOUSE.
EXPANSION THROUGH EXPERIENCE.
The 9th. House indicates an area of the life whereby one will seek an expansion of the ‘Self’ through ‘Knowledge'. Often there is a need to go on a quest, in search of the ‘Meaning of Life’ to find out the ‘Truth’ of one’s existence.
The Zodiac Sign of Sagittarius indicates the urge to travel, to seek new places of adventures which would give inspiration and aspiration to become wise. Sagittarius is the Sign of the Guru and Prophet, one who has the Wisdom of the 'Ancients' and who might teach others how to find the key which will open the door to knowledge. Sagittarius has no real sense of time and will tend to ‘Wander’ wherever it will roam, seeing no borders or boundaries. And when the Zodiac Sign of Sagittarius covers the 9th. House then one is in a constant search for mental and physical stimulation.
To understand exactly what John Lennon would search for as far as the true meaning of life and to experience a higher ‘Spiritual’ nature, one has to seek out the Ruling planet of Sagittarius, to find out in what Zodiac Sign the Ruling planet is domiciled and in what Housing.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Sagittarius is the ‘Jovial’ and 'Enthusiastic' planet of Jupiter. In John Lennon’s Birth chart it is seen that the planet Jupiter is domiciled in the 1st. House of Taurus. Wherever a planet is domiciled in a Zodiac Sign it will it ‘Enliven’ that Zodiac Sign and the House in which it is seated. In this way it is easy to state that John Lennon would project himself out into the public eye as one who was ‘High Spirited’, one who would quickly be off on a search for forms of new excitement and to go on a ‘Quest’, to wherever there was some kind of ‘Knowledge’ to learn.
With Jupiter in Taurus, it is expected that John Lennon would always be interested in whatever would ‘Enrich’ his ‘Spirit’.
In this way, John Lennon would go off on spiritual journeys, to project himself towards those who were considered to be ‘Gurus and Prophets’. The nature of Taurus is to be practical and ‘Down-To-Earth’, so that he would have felt the need to find something he could ‘Believe in’, something which would give him a sense of ‘Self-Belief’. And it was for this reason that he travelled to those places where he could sit at the feet of those whom, he thought, would give him what he needed. In this way, with Jupiter in Taurus, the journeys would cost him a lot of money and leave him unsatisfied with that form of Eastern Philosophy.
This did not matter to John Lennon, that he did not find what he was looking for, the fact that Jupiter in Taurus in his 1st. House would always cause him to search for answers, no matter what the cost. For this reason, he turned to Yoko Ono, who would, no doubt have taught him the ‘Truth’ of Mysticism’ and how to look inside himself for the answer, the truth of the ‘Meaning of Life’ and to have an ultimate faith in himself.
************************************************************************************************
THE TENTH HOUSE.
CAREER AND STATUS.
The 10th. House indicates an area within the life which deals with one’s sense of ambition and the urge to climb so that one is judged to have done well at the end of the life. This House gives an idea of how one deals with those in authority and with the sense of duty, the way one might organise the life. The aim is to gain recognition, to rise in the life so that one gained a reputation and status, whether good or bad. The 10th. House can give sense of what kind of career one might seek so that a public reputation is gained.
The nature of Capricorn is to be very persevering and patient so that one climbs steadily and safely, striving to ultimately reach the top of a desired position. Capricorn urges caution, so that each step of the journey uphill was to climb, taking each step at a time so that one reached the top without falling. The nature of Capricorn is to be very aware of those whom judge one’s effort with a critical eye and, in this way, the Capricorn effort is not to fall from grace, to be criticised for making mistakes. In this way, the nature is to be calculating and organised, climbing to the top of the mountain so that others might look up with respect.
When the Zodiac Sign of Capricorn covers the 10th. House then one seeks to aspire to move up in the life, to work in a way which would gain one a reputation, to have ‘Status’ so that one has the authority to delegate the work to those lower down in the ‘Pecking Order’. One would want to be seen as one who is the ‘Top Dog’, the ‘Boss’. John Lennon, having Capricorn covering the 10th. House in his Birth Chart, would have felt the urge to climb to the top, to be recognised by others as one whom had ‘Made It’ in life.
Capricorn is an area of ‘Lessons’, areas in the life whereby one has to overcome the lessons in life which ‘Test’ one’s patience and aptitude for overcoming whatever in the ‘Ambitious Climb’ to the top is there to restrict one from an easy ascent towards one’s goal.
To understand exactly what lessons John Lennon has to ‘Learn’ and overcome, the need is to seek out where the Ruling planet of Capricorn is seated within John Lennon’s Birth Chart. It is known that the Ruling planet of Capricorn is the ‘Restrictive’ and ‘Limiting’ planet of Saturn and the planet of Saturn, in John Lennon’s Birth Chart is domiciled in Taurus, in the 1st. House.
The planet Saturn is a hard taskmaster with some hard lessons in life. Those who overcome the lessons will find a relief of stress and the climb to the top becomes much easier. Those who try to take short-cuts, who are impatient, will certainly suffer from frustrations and feel the surfacing of ‘Fear’, which would then cause ‘Hold-Ups’ and ‘Restrictions’ in the life. When Saturn is seated in the 1st. House then one is not happy projecting the self because this allows the public to make note of any mistakes which are made. In this way, John Lennon would ‘Learn’ to take a cautious approach to life, often unsure and keeping a low profile until he is sure that things ‘Work’ for him. The tendency is to be reserved in his dress sense and worry about any form of personal criticisms aimed at him, so that he might attack in a defensive way. With Saturn in the 1st. House of Taurus, John Lennon would feel a sense of being somewhat ‘Undervalued’, feeling that his presence is worth far more and impatient with any who ask him to take an audition, so that he is ‘Tested’. Psychologically, the underlying ‘Fear’ is ‘Failure’, to fail the test of his performance and, in this way become unpaid, not worth the money. The fact is that, with Saturn residing in Taurus in the 1st. House gives a personal test of endurance, testing his ‘Personal’ integrity and his sense of ‘Value’.
The climb to the top will be a personal task, to prove his ‘Worth’, that he is worth paying for. The driving force is the psychological ‘Fear’ of being ‘Poor’, of having to face poverty and beg.
It is not that, in John Lennon’s Birth Chart, he has Jupiter and Saturn co-joined in his 1st. House. This conjunction could give pressure to the nature in that it might feel like it’s ‘Two steps forward and three steps back’! Often his enthusiasm and ‘High Hopes’ would be tempered through outbreaks of depression and frustration. He would have to learn to structure his ambitions through patience and constructive thinking.
*******************************************************************
THE ELEVENTH HOUSE.
HOPES AND WISHES.
The 11th. House indicates an area within the life which deals with one’s hopes and wishes for the future, what one might look forward to although there has to be some forethought and planning, otherwise expectations can be reversed and the unexpected cause trouble. This Housing also indicates one’s social outlook, how one thinks about hobbies and socialising within groups, whatever lies outside the area of the ‘Working Life’. There is a need for friendships and so the life would relate to those friends who are involved with group efforts. The 11th. House deals with ideals and ‘Humanitarian’ causes.
The Zodiac Sign of Aquarius denotes the sense of Aspirations and areas whereby ideals of ‘Social Progress’ are realised. Aquarius is an Air Sign, in that this Zodiac Sign communicates progressive ideas which will innovate and invent new ideas which are used to ‘Update’ what is needed so that Humanity as a whole can progress and move forward. At times, Aquarius can cause rebellious behaviour, if a rebellion against outmoded uses and antiquated laws are needed to cause changes within the social sphere. Aquarius will produce ‘Independent’ thinking which revolutionises the ‘Old Existence’.
When the Zodiac Sign of Aquarius covers the 11th. House then the area of life which deals with ‘Social Pursuits’ and the sense of thinking ‘Outside of the Box’ can cause one with this combination to act ‘Differently’ to the rest of the ‘Group’, to be somewhat ‘Independent-Minded’ and to rebel against ideas which become stale and outmoded, so that one with this combination is liable to break away from the group, seeking others whom share the same innovative ideas, to become a member of a new group with new aims and aspirations.
To gain insight into John Lennon’s sense of innovative ideas and sense of ‘Reformative Thinking’, the need is to seek out where the Ruling planet of Aquarius is domiciled, under what Zodiac Sign the Ruling planet is seated and in what Housing of the Birth Chart.
The Ruling planet of Aquarius is the ‘Erratic’ and ‘Maverick’ planet of Uranus and it is seen, in John Lennon’s Birth Chart, that the planet of Uranus is seated in the Zodiac Sign of Taurus in the 2nd. House. Basically, the planet Uranus shows how one will deal with ideas which appear to be ‘Outmoded’. It is the principle of ‘Change’ and one’s readiness to ‘Rock the Boat’ and when Uranus is domiciled in Taurus then one’s thinking is ‘Financially Based’. One with this combination will seek out unusual ways to make and spend money, preferring not to go by the usual routes and breaking away from whatever seems dull and boring. John Lennon would persevere in seeking ways of becoming ‘Financially Independent’ and so break away from routine and look more to what might have been a ‘Hobby’ or is within a ‘Group Effort’. Often the ideas come through new and innovative ideas which can be used in a ‘Social Atmosphere’, in clubs where others socialise.
In a way, Uranus in Taurus quirks one to break away from the ‘Norm’ of Society, to seek new ventures, which in effect, destabilises one’s ‘Financial Security’. In this way one will ‘Take Chances’ without full consideration of what might happen in the future, suddenly finding the hopes dashed through sudden reckless moves. When the combination of Uranus in Taurus is seated in the 2nd. House then the ‘Earthy’ grounding of the Taurus nature can give some stability to the spending so that John Lennon would have expressed a value through his unusual talents and gradually made gains after experiencing losses. His sense of ‘Predictive Spirit’ would have paid off, even though he would have had to restrict his rebellious nature for the sake of ‘Public Order’ and those in authority, who ruled the recording industry.

THE TWELFTH HOUSE.
DREAMS AND IMAGINATION.
The 12th. House is an area which indicates ‘Dreams’ and the sense of one’s ‘Imagination’, an area through which one might escape from hardships, the harsh side of life. It signifies a greater sense of compassion and sympathy which can cause ‘Guilt Complexes’ and, through feelings of guilt, urge one to make ‘Sacrifices’, to give up one’s time and seek a higher cause to serve.
The 12th. House, if in bad aspect can give one forms of ‘Martyr Complex’ whilst, if in good aspect can cause one to act like the ‘Good Samaritan’.
The Zodiac Sign of Pisces indicates a height of sensitivity and compassion. The nature is infused with a strong imaginative sense and highly impressionable, often dissolving itself and adapting to whatever environment is close. Pisces is the Chameleon of the Zodiac, taking on and copying its surroundings and, in this way, can suffer the hurts of others, feeling a deepest sympathy so that the need can be to escape to where there are dreams of a safe haven. Pisces can be likened to the ‘Water’ which, when poured into a bowl will take the shape of the bowl, this softest sign of the Zodiac is not well equipped for life’s realities and the competitive ‘Rat-Race’. To gain sense of how John Lennon would connect to the sensitivities of the 12th. House, where such imitative and compassionate feelings would arise, the need is to find out exactly where the Ruling planet of Pisces is seated, under what Zodiac Sign the Ruling planet is domiciled and in what Housing.
It is known that the Ruling planet of Pisces is the nebulous planet of Neptune and that Neptune is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Virgo in the 6th. House.
When the planet Neptune is domiciled in the Zodiac Sign of Virgo then one will seek a cause to serve. Neptune infers a nature which is like a swirl of emotive power which causes sensations of pity and sympathy so that one is inclined to either run and hide from the hurt, to make an escape or to sacrifice the nature and help those in need. The nature of Virgo is to be practical and realistic, to accept what makes perfect sense, so that when faced with whatever appears to be painful to the ‘Soul’, the Virgo nature will tend to over-rule such sensitive inner feelings and set about putting things right.
Neptune in Virgo does not have time for those whom can look after themselves, Virgo’s concern is for those who cannot help themselves, the small animals and those whom are wounded. And when the combination of Neptune in Virgo is seated in the 6th. House then John Lennon would set himself out to serve the cause of making it a fit world to live in. The feelings would be drawn towards serving those who cannot help themselves. He would take up their cause and make their case so that others, who might not understand, would understand the case so that it made perfect sense. He would ‘Sacrifice’ his time to defend the sick and those whom were ‘Imperfect’ through areas of ‘Mental Health’.
It is noted that there is a union of Neptune and Mars in John Lennon’s 6th. House and this conjunction would give the sensitivity of Neptune a more forceful energy, to ‘Feel’ that making war was a way of hurting those whom could not help themselves. In this way, in a ‘Romanticised’ way, John Lennon sang the words… ‘Give peace a chance’. The problem here was that, while Neptune installed compassion and sympathy for those hurt, the energy of Mars caused John Lennon to become challenging and too forceful so that those in authority saw him as more of a ‘Nuisance’ value than a ‘Saint’, one who sacrificed his time, dreaming of helping those who ‘Suffered’. It was these feelings, these sensitive imaginings which caused John Lennon to write his most wonderful song... 'Imagine'. Check out the words of the song and feel what John Lennon felt and fought for!

************************************************************************************************

*********************************************************************************************

THE NINTH HOUSE.
EXPANSION THROUGH EXPERIENCE.
The 9th. House indicates an area of the life whereby one will seek an expansion of the ‘Self’ through ‘Knowledge'.

***************************************************************************************
